Hokkaido Sashimi Marketplace is a small grocery store and mini mart with a restaurant counter, offering a convenient place to grab something quick. It features a good selection of items, including plenty of fresh sashimi with lots of different fishes to choose from that are made daily fresh. The fish quality is good and top-notch, especially the salmon sashimi. The store also offers premade sushi rolls, nigiri, onigiri, and hot dishes like unagi and salmon over rice, chicken karaage, and spam musubi. There are daily $10 specials and party platters available to order.

The space is a lot smaller than some expect, with very small aisles of snacks, rice, sauces, and misc items, plus a selection of drinks. Some visitors note the refrigerated side can seem a bit empty or bare, with a limited selection. However, fresh selections are brought out all the time. Parking can be a bit difficult, especially on the weekend, though there is plenty of parking in the back. A cozy little area in the back allows people to sit, eat, and sip Japanese beer or sake. The staff is very friendly.
