Sushi Takeaway near Castro Valley, CA

“This place has such good clam chowder in the bread bowl!!! I used to go to their SF location when I lived in the Mission. The sourdough tastes fresh and the clam chowder is really nice. My boyfriend doesn't even like seafood (picky eater, not from California) but he liked the clam chowder, too!

I also love the Philly rolls. That smoked salmon makes me so happy 😁. I don't ever want to get Philly rolls anywhere else! When I'm able to eat spicy food again (reflux) I can't wait to have the spicy tuna. That used to be a favorite of mine.

“I think the aesthetics beat the taste for these bento boxes… the sushi was ok, for reasonable price, but doesnt beat the high quality sashimi to go bentos I’ve had in other places. The salmon was a bit fishy for my liking although it was really fatty. For $20/box, it is not the most generous portions. Overall, just alright!“
