“Aji Kiji is one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. The quality of the fish is outstanding—everything tasted incredibly fresh, with clean flavors that let the ingredients speak for themselves. The rice was well seasoned, although I personally thought it had just a touch too much vinegar.
The presentation is beautiful, and every piece feels thoughtfully crafted. It's definitely not the cheapest takeout sushi, but unlike many trendy spots, I felt the quality justified the price. This is the kind of sushi I'd happily treat myself to again.
My only advice is to order early because popular items sell out quickly. If you're looking for high-quality takeout sushi in San Francisco, Aji Kiji is absolutely worth trying.“

“I went on a Wednesday around 2:47PM and honestly I was scared they’d be sold out already but thankfully they still had sushi left
They had a few sushi rolls, tofu, tuna bowls, and seared salmon… which was perfect because that’s exactly what I came for.
It was $12.50 for 5 pieces of seared salmon. I’ve definitely seen cheaper in Seattle, but for downtown SF? honestly not bad at all
The salmon was buttery, soft, and actually pretty good quality. I don’t think one order is enough to fully fill you up but honestly maybe that’s the perfect kind of lunch before the afternoon slump“
