“On our way back from Arizona, my wife and I stopped in Cathedral City for a delicious blast from the past. "Capizzi's" was staple in the North-Austin Community and a most anticipated treat for our family and so many other families around the North Avenue and Moody area. Well, all these years later, Louie Capizzi has duplicated the iconic "piece of sausage on every square" pizza, along with a cheesecake line-up that must be sampled to be believed. It was an afternoon well spent. And, if you are ever in the Palm Springs area...treat yourself!👍“

“My husband has lost a lot of mobility. Staff here are so kind and helpful to get him seated and up again into his wheelchair. Food and staff are exceptional. Service is top notch. We go as often as we can. We have a wine collection and bring our own. It would be nice (not necessary) to update their wine list. It's not very enticing and it's not a question of cost. Just a thought, but then we're very spoiled.“

I opted for a medium New York pizza and spinach and feta breadsticks, both of which were mouthwateringly delicious. “I had a turkey sandwich. It comes with a green salad. The light vinaigrette made it tasty. Sandwich was fresh and delicious, too.

This is a hidden gem. Not visible from the street. It's near Trader Joe's in Canyon Plaza North. Same building as El Pollo Loco, but now we have a better option next door.

I'm glad they finally got an entry on Google Maps so more people can find them. It's a small shop.“
