Old Cayucos Tavern & Card Room Cocktail Bar • $
130 N Ocean Ave, Cayucos

“This place is such a cute Saloon! I am a s***** for old western style bars and this one is a must see. The decor inside felt like I had stepped into a Old Western movie, from the intricate wooden bar to the promiscuous wall art. The people are so friendly, we had some fun conversations and had a few laughs about the hilarious decor. If you ever pass by this town, don't miss a chance to experience this place! Stop in and have a beer and look around, it's definitely one for the books!“

“This place has changed drastically since I remember it in the 90"sThere are pool tables and a newer style jukebox, dune evenings with karaoke and outdoor seating. The staff were nice and got drinks pretty quickly.A decent selection of tap beer and cider.“

“Very old restaurant that needs updating. We did get a lovely table that overlooked Morro Rock which was nice. Prices are very high for this restaurant. I got the small pizza which was good but nothing special. My friend got the risotto that tasted like it was made from broth with no added cream or cheese. It had no flavor. Very disappointing. We did enjoy the caprese salad. It was very small and was 16/17 dollars I believe. Very expensive for the portion. But it was by far the best thing we tasted. We we’re celebrating our 60th birthdays and let the restaurant know that. We were wished happy birthday’s and although we did not want a dessert, we were not offered one as most restaurants do for special occasions. Again another disappointment. We each had a drink and walked out of there with tip around $130 bucks. Definitely not worth what we paid.“

“A great time for Super Bowl at this fun, casual bar in Morro Bay. Our team lost - Booooo! but the game was great sitting with new acquaintances and friendly locals plus a terrific host & bartender, James. I had my usual Manhattan/Maker's Mark and my husband had a couple of IPA's. My drink was perfect and beers were enjoyed! It was Customer Appreciation Night, so there was food & drawings for prizes. FUN times! Special thanks to James for handling it all with a relaxed and rallying approach even though he's a Raider's Fan. Check them out. Good times!“
