“First and foremost the lady working there was so sweet! Very easy to talk to as well. I got a classic cinnamon roll with oreo bits on it; it was fresh out of the oven and it was delicious! I always get an extra cup of frosting with it. I also got a "chillata", once again, absolutely loved that too. :)“

“I really like their food and eat there about once a week, BUT the service can really be hit or miss. I had a particularly frustrating experience this morning when I was the only one in the shop, waiting for a salad I'd ordered ahead online. I checked in when I arrived, said I was here for the salad and ordered something else while I waited. I got the second thing I ordered, but then I just sat and waited for twenty minutes before finally checking in again and asking when they thought the salad would be ready. Turns out they'd finished it and put it on the shelf without telling me. I mentioned I'd been sitting there waiting for a while and they didn't say anything. I would have at least appreciated an apology or an explanation about a miscommunication or something. I understand that things get busy, and stuff falls through the cracks, but when you have three staff, and one customer, this kind of stuff should not be happening. This was at the Forest location, but I've had similar experiences at Mangrove and Esplanade as well.“

“They have everything that i grew up with and it just made Chico feel a little more like home. They have a carniceria, bakery, cheeses, candies, drinks, and all the staples of a latino household. They are very warm and welcoming, I highly recommend stopping in.“

“We got a few mini bunt cakes. They were delicious but they were super sweet. I’m not entirely sure how people say that the cakes aren’t too sweet? Like, the cream cheese frosting is delicious but also doesn’t taste too much like cream cheese with how much sugar is in there. With that being said they were moist, and the texture was amazing. I will definitely be going back but I’ll eat that little cake in moderation to save myself from a tummy ache.“

“This is my favorite donut spot in town. The owners are so sweet, their prices are such a good deal and their donuts are delicious. Plus the whole place reminds me of my childhood?. I feel like I’m 8 again walking into the donut shop I grew up around the corner from on a Saturday morning. They may not have wild fancy maple bacon filled donuts but they have perfected the donut classics?.“
