“I always judge a bar on the cleanliness of their bathroom. Joe's Bar has one of the cleanest bars in downtown Chico. It is always stocked with the essentials. The owner is super nice. The bartenders are great at what they do. I will definitely be returning.“

“This place is great for a quiet romantic or social gathering. I usually go for the giant rib eye and have the soup of the day with a bourbon sour. The pomegranate tiramisu was a bit funky sure to a very interesting flavor and texture, but the other desserts were well made.“

“I dont know what some of these reviews are talking about😂 this is my favorite place for drinks for one, the main bartender victor is my favorite in the whole county, and heather is right behind him. Ive never disliked a drink from him and i can even discribe him the flavor i want and he'll make it. The food might take a sec but i know they're understaffed and this isnt fast food. But the food is great quality every time. Best beer cheese ive ever had, my little sis always gets the french dip and i hear the blackened chicken sandwich is bomb🙏🏻 quality food, drinks and atmosphere, i love this place“

“If you are not intimately familiar with this place and a regular patient, then basically I don’t know what you are doing with your life. Carlos makes incredibly good food, the portions are solid, the drinks are delicious and not a rip off, the bartenders are nice and fun, it’s just a great place. That said, the new hours for the rest of the summer are killing me. I repeat, killing me.“
