I know.)And I guess don't go there if you want a bartender to recommend libations by promoting their specialties or say... Conversing with the customer...Definitely dont go there if a 10$ tip for 2 drinks is too shabby for even slight eye contact from the bartender.and maybe don't go there if u feel like laughing and don't want to be stared at. “I've been here a few times now and the experience has always been great. The food, the service, the atmosphere, all perfect. Whether it's just my wife and I or a group of 10+, they always manage to handle things perfectly.

I particularly love to sit out on the back patio on a nice evening, they sometimes have live music which gives the best vibe for a nice dinner.

Their menu changes, not too often mind you, so what I've had may or may not be on it when you go. In the 3-4 times that I've gone, I've ordered different cuts of steak that might be available at the time and they're always cooked perfectly and well-complimented with the sides.

It's one of the classiest places to dine in Chico, excellent for a date night or a low-key celebration with friends and/or family. The personal touches are all over this restaurant and the owners are wonderful hosts with an excellent staff.“

“First time here at this new location. We had double smash burgers with fries. The fries were fantastic, crunchy, thin cut, with a seasoned exterior that almost reminded me of a thin layer of tempura. They were so good! The burger was equally wonderful. Pro tip use the sauce for the fries on your burger! We topped off the meal with a couple tall cans of hazy IPA from California micro breweries. I'm heading back next chance. They had vegetarian options. Service was spot on!“

“I always judge a bar on the cleanliness of their bathroom. Joe's Bar has one of the cleanest bars in downtown Chico. It is always stocked with the essentials. The owner is super nice. The bartenders are great at what they do. I will definitely be returning.“

“I dont know what some of these reviews are talking about😂 this is my favorite place for drinks for one, the main bartender victor is my favorite in the whole county, and heather is right behind him. Ive never disliked a drink from him and i can even discribe him the flavor i want and he'll make it. The food might take a sec but i know they're understaffed and this isnt fast food. But the food is great quality every time. Best beer cheese ive ever had, my little sis always gets the french dip and i hear the blackened chicken sandwich is bomb🙏🏻 quality food, drinks and atmosphere, i love this place“

“Great place for yummy drinks and delicious food. In April they were just finishing up their winter menu which is limited. But in summer they have a full menu including barbeque. Loved the atmosphere and service too. Definitely check it out!“

“If you are not intimately familiar with this place and a regular patient, then basically I don’t know what you are doing with your life. Carlos makes incredibly good food, the portions are solid, the drinks are delicious and not a rip off, the bartenders are nice and fun, it’s just a great place. That said, the new hours for the rest of the summer are killing me. I repeat, killing me.“
