“Oke poke is my go to spot any where.

This one was generous with portion and food was great and hits the spot everytime.

The employees were nice even after dealing with 2 unintelligent customers ahead of us who in my opinion instead if assuming things, they could have asked the employees and they would have gladly clarified.

“DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A TAKE OUT PLACE ONLYI came here to get food for lunch. I ordered online and food was available in 15 mins. When I returned i noticed I was missing an item. I called and they asked to come back and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. Most people would not give 5 stars for missing items but the way it was handled shows exceptional service. They do not have a lot of options for Hawaiian BBQ but their sushi rolls and egg rolls are amazing.“

“One of my favorites. Fresh ingredients, many different options that other places don’t have. Reasonable prices. Ordering thru their app makes things super easy to pre-order. Punch card keeps me returning. A bit difficult to get parking and tight area but really great poki place.“

“Love Poke and this place has fresh fish and vegetables and I've been multiple times and it hasn't disappointed which says consistency - hard to find these days. It's the usual line up of choose your base: salad, brown or white rice or half/half and then proteins and add on's. Highly recommend coming out here to have a delicious poke on rice and salad.“

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

“My family likes to have Hawaiian food about 3-4 times a month. We only come here now. I used to think all Hawaiian food tasted pretty much the same no matter where you get it from. Well maybe the bbq chicken does but if you like your Bbq Beef super tender and full of flavor and your Katsu with juicy chicken on the inside, then you have to get it from Young’s. Other places serve dried up katsu and the beef is not soft or flavorful. Young’s BBQ does it right and never disappoints. Their BBQ Beef and crack Macaroni are my favorites. I need that recipe.“

“For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

“My new addiction! I love Poké and this place is fresh and delicious! It’s my favorite place and my weekly lunch since it’s close to work. The staff is wonderful! I always get the Green Thai tea and make my own poke bowl. The beef bowl is also delicious! They make it to order and you wait about 5-10mins for the cooked and a couple minutes for the drinks. No big waits, small place not for big parties. Overall great place …I recommend.“

“Been looking to try this poke spot for a while and I finally had a chance to stop by today. Now I'm wishing I had stopped by so much sooner. I got a large bowl with 5 different scoops of proteins & everything tasted both fresh and amazing. Ninfa was my server at this location and she was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable/helpful. She helped explain the different sauces as I was new to some of the sauce options they have here.

“Continuing to be the classic go-to spot for Hawaiian-style food, not only has a long-standing history, but its consistency is comforting. After all, they have some of the best Hawaiian macaroni salad around.

Whether you choose the Galbi, BBQ Chicken, or Kalua Pork the portions are big and offer a sharable value. The Katsu is also another good choice if something fried is what you prefer.

The bowls are a lighter affair, and I often have to pair it with an order of Musubi.

Pricing is under $20 thus not your typical fast food establishment.“

“I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I'm used to. I bit into it and it didn't have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.“
