“First visit to Wormwood and it was an excellent culinary experience. It was a bit loud in the dining room and it is not a cheap dinner date but the service was phenomenal and the food and drinks were, for the most part, delectable. Tonight we ordered a farmers loaf of bread to share which came out steaming hot and accompanied by a delicious butter. We also ordered the French Onion dish that made my eyes roll to the back of my head. Let’s suffice to say I could have just ordered a couple of those French Onion apps and been perfectly content without needing a main dish. Nonetheless, our party ordered the Sea Bass, Chicken and the mushroom pasta dishes as mains. Everyone was happy with their meal and the plating was beautiful as you can see in the pictures. Overall it was a great meal - maybe not a regular date night sort of place but worth it for an occasional splurge.“

“Very friendly staff, very exclusive location with exclusive menu. Nice hardcore view, great place to visit in the afternoon.Tiny table area but full of Maritime decor, again, very exclusive. Outdoor seating is fun, get to see people walk by, lot people with fishing pole, hey to join their happiness when fish is caught. You won't feel this excitement really anywhere else. “We chose the Westgate Hotel for our Mother's Day brunch, and it exceeded our expectations. The menu offered a selection of carefully crafted American and other dishes. I'm writing this review with the hope that the Westgate will reinstate its pre-COVID Mother's Day buffet brunch, which was one of the best buffets our family ever experienced. The buffet featured a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional breakfast foods, with multiple stations, all presented in a classically European decor. Although this time we ordered a la carte, the food was still delicious, and we left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Westgate, we eagerly anticipate the return of your buffet when it is safe to do so.“
“I ordered the asada tacos and asada chips from Door Dash. Let me tell you, the food is super tasty. The tacos were packed with meat and there was more meat than chips in the asada chips. They chopped up the asada for the chips making it easier to eat. This is a hidden gem for sure! Hands down the closest I've gotten to tacos in TJ. 10 out of 10!!!!!“
