“My family and I had such an incredible experience at Alforon! Samia, co-owner and sole waitress/hostess, laughed with us the entire time, sharing her candid recommendations and suggestions. The za'atar flatbread, chicken kebab, and aaysh essaraya (we ended up ordering two!) were particularly delightful. It was our first time, but it was incredibly telling that the rest of the guests were regulars (one couple was there for the third time that week) - the entire experience felt like we were having a meal at a beloved family member's home. “Probably the most affordable stall in the food court, for the amount of fried rice you get it's congruent to the price point, unlike other places that are pretty pricey but smaller portions than expected. The thai milk tea is pretty frickin pricey.

Crab rangoon roll is exactly what it is, I was impressed with how it stayed crispy throughout its length. Its pretty monoflavored though, so the sweet and sour sauce helped me finish it. Recommend splitting it with two people.

Fried rice was surprisingly delicious and ridiculously huge. It was like the second cheapest option on the menu and I'm pretty sure there was curry powder. You can adjust the spice level and I liked that it came with fresh cucumber garnish.

If I ever find myself back in Liberty Station and im starving, this would be my go to, that rice lasted me the whole day.“
