The staff was nice and friendly which made the experience even better.
The place has an old fashioned american style atmosphere that gives it a cossy,classic feel.

“Loved this place! A no frills breakfast place that serves delicious breakfast is just what this area needed. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, great pancakes, and automatically came with cheesey potato’s. Generous portions but left not feeling too heavy. Great and quick service. I loved it, this will be my new go to breakfast spot.“

“My wife and I ran across Aunt Emma’s Pancakes while vacationing in San Diego. We knew we had to try it before heading home, so we popped in and enjoyed breakfast together. The morning we went was raining, and the restaurant was packed, but we were seated almost immediately. I ordered Chilaquiles de Mole. If I had been hungrier, adding an 8oz steak was only $4 more, but as it was I had more than enough food. The chilaquiles were perfect… the texture was firm without being too crispy or mushy. The mole was slightly sweet with hints of chocolate and cinnamon, but still savory and lightly spicy. My wife ordered an Nopal Omelette with a side of Churro Pancakes. Her omelette had the nice tang and crisp from the nopal, and the pancakes were probably the best I’ve ever had. Not dry, not mushy, not too sweet… the texture was just right, and they were so delicious we ate them without syrup. We absolutely will be back… it’s worth driving out of your way to experience!“
