“The papaya salad is to die for and the customer service has been great both times I have gone from the asian make owner! My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! It’s a must try and I dream about it in my sleep it’s so good with the noodles and so spicy! Lol. I’m in love and drooling... o baby!!! Lol come here and eat, the other dishes are mediocre and the hot pot we tried the first time wa so so due to the broths we weren’t a fan of and the meat and seafood weren’t of good quality and had gone bad when we had gotten to them in the fridge. Just stick with the papaya salad and noodles and you will be good to go! Eat here and good eating! Cheers!“

“Just got to try this place out for the first time in 24 years. Living in the area I’d pass by and today I decided to try it and it did not disappoint. The service was great. A woman served me and my date, she was lovely. And the food was even better. The lady helped us set up sake bombs. Will be coming back. This place became my new favorite sushi restaurant. Fish tasted fresh and the food was delicious. Highly recommend“

“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.

Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.

Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.“

“The food is great, but the worst part is the plastic waste. Even if the customer asks, they insist that their policy every order must be served in a plastic bag, even if dining in the restaurant. They should provide paper bags for take-out and reusable trays for dine-in orders.“

“Sushi was great! We sat at the sushi bar, took recommendations from the chefs and loved every single bite. We had creamy maguro and spicy rainbow rolls, and hotate (scallop) nigiri. They have some great happy hour deals and is definitely one of the most affordable sushi lunches in the area. Recommend, we’ll definitely return!“

“Recently ate lunch here and was so pleasantly surprised! Our meals were made to order and you could see the cooking staff making the meals. Had Kung Pow Chicken, Won Ton Soup and a beef dish I forget. What I won’t forget is how delicious it all was. And generous portions! Needed to go boxes. This place is a hidden gem. “Finally, another variety of Asian food in Folsom! The restaurant is still having River Thai sign at the front so it was a bit confusing. There are 2 kiosks to order the food or you can go to the cashier to order.

The service is semi self service. They brought our food to the table in brown to-go boxes. However, the portion was generous for the price.

- Hainan chicken rice: the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and juicy (but a little bit bland for my taste). The rice was fluffy. The soup broth was good and very hearty.
- Crispy chicken with rice: it’s my favorite between the two. The coating was crispy and flavorful while the chicken meat was still juicy. My favorite part was the spicy sauce! It was delicious!!!

I will definitely come back for more and try different menu.“

“I'm so glad I finally stopped by this little dumpling shop I've passed by so often driving from Roseville to Folsom! I had their wonton soup along with an order of BBQ buns. Both items had that wholesome homemade quality that reminded me of things my mom would make. With so many places going a bit overboard with the salt and seasonings, I'm pleasantly surprised that this was not the case here. The wontons and BBQ buns were pleasantly savory without being over flavored. I would definitely come back to try their other items!“

“I was happy to go to Red Lantern due to the family style picks. The prices aren't bad either. Customer Service is very poor everytime I have went. I had to flag down the servers everytime we needed something. We asked for appetizers first but everything came together. Then I asked for low sodium soy sauce and other sauces, we were pretty much done eating when she came back with one sauce. No acknowledgement. It was purely disrespectful when I asked if they do anything for birthdays, she said yeah wait it will be a surprise. I believe she did that to shut us up. There was nothing. No singing no dessert. Nothing. We spent a lot of money for them to brush us off. She could have simply replied instead of lieing to our faces to shut us up. The staff needs to be more professional and comprehend good customer service. Not cool. I DO NOT recommend it for a special occasion. I never do this but, this is needed. “All staff were very friendly and attentive to needs. Food was flavorful and portion size was enough to share. Happy hour in the bar includes several appetizers and drinks for a discount price. Per the host bar happy hour is all day every day! Will be back for sure!

“I'm from out of town. Walking distance to the hotel I was staying. If you order something with noodles watch out because they give you A LOT of them. So you'll probably have a couple meals out of this. The lady I dealt with was nice and the food was cheap.“
