“Good great place for coffee“

“This is a great "hidden" Citrus Heights gem of a cafe! Had their Wednesday special that was a Korean beef dish w/noodles, rice and gyoza for only $7.50. It was amazing and so much that it made two meals for me and my husband! Next day went in for their CA roll Thursday special that I got for my daughter. She loved it. They sell various salads and sandwiches too. I've had their BLT w/avocado twice, but the daily specials are the best. Pastries, fruit/yogurt cups, coffee, teas, etc available. The couple that runs the business is very kind. Located inside the hospital, next to the police department and across the street from Sam's Club.“

“If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!“

“04/15/2023; 7:10 PM unfortunate experience… I came in to pick up my “to go” order. I stated I was there to get my order, I was asked my last name. I gave my last name, and staff member behind the kitchen counter area picked up my bag, looked in the bag, and said, “I will get you a cup for your tea.” Then, the manager behind the Counter abruptly inserted herself into the conversation by saying, “She said the cup is in the bag!” I said that isn’t what I heard. At this time the staff member handed me the cup. The manager was dismissive and made yet another unnecessary comment as if to make herself relevant. (Not sure why she felt so needy) I walked away and said perhaps a Google review is in order, and she said, “Oh, that’s not necessary, and said “have a nice day” in the most disingenuous tone. While all this was transpiring, she was giggling behind the counter with co-workers like a Junior high school girl. I found the laughter to be rude, and clear that my business was both unappreciated and minimized. This experience was definitely an exception from my typical good experiences. Not sure if it was a slow night and she needed to feel involved in a simple transaction. She should FOCUS on her people skills.“

“Nice atmosphere and the place appears clean and calm. Above average boba and the service staff are really nice. 8.5/10 boba and a good way to start or end a day of errands.

It’s also a good place if you like to take aesthetic photos.“

“It’s probably the only spot within 50 miles that has the newest Ground Control Cyclops coffee machine for drip and cold brew coffee, paired with their Onyx coffee you get the best tasting coffee in town!“

I still think world traveler coffee roasters is miles better than bigger chains and reasonably priced for the quality.“

“This review is overdue. I have gone many boba places in the Roseville/Rocklin area. Sweetea is the best boba tea place in town. Not a lot of places serve with real milk. Real milk is much better than powder milk. You can get different types of milks, sizes, and many other toppings. They also serve food, not just Boba. You can adjust the amount of sugar and ice. The cups and store in general look so cute.“

The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

“At first I thought google maps led me astray as I found myself in a Chevron gas station. However, the breakfast burrito is the best I’ve had in a while. A hearty size and fair price. Lots of options and again, a delicious burrito. I’ve gotten so sick of dry boring breakfast burritos but this was delightful. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Ayman knows his his job really well. He is clean, kind and his prices are fair. Ypu should come here for best middle eastern/ Mediterranean desserts. He has plants of options. You will have hard time deciding about which ones to buy. Order anything from his menu you won’t go wrong. He doesn’t cheap out on ingredients he use. I am glad ı discovered this place. “I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“
