“This is my new favorite Asian restaurant it’s far from home but so worth the drive. From the decor to service to the amazing food…. I can’t say how refreshing it is to be able to eat clean healthy Asian cuisine. The owner is Bill and I’ve met him twice now. He’s passionate about his restaurants, yes I said restaurants plural. He let me know there’s one in Eldorado Hills and Folsom as well as this one I’m reviewing in Citrus Heights on Sunrise. It’s beautiful, clean, and the food is so very delicious! “Our table had some crumbs on it when we sat down. My lasagna was a little on the oily side. Nick gave us great service. The pay machine on the table grabbed my visa card info when I laid it unexpectedly in front of it. I was surprised as I had a gift card to use. The staff was very helpful in wanting to refund the balance and correct it immediately.“

“My first time at Mr Pickles, they have a wide variety of sandwiches, but I chose to make my own. My sandwich was less than $8 and I could only eat half of it, the person behind the counter very pleasant. And the gentleman that rang me up gave me a free cookie!!“

“This is the place if you want a very good sandwich and soup better than Subway and Togo's and Panera., Bread is real sour dough, and if you want extra, you can have it without extra .Charge the soup is so much better chicken poblano and calm chowder will be back this week for another round I had Pastrami ,Turkey.“

“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.

Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.

Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.“

“My mother and I went in on a last minute thing and we both had probably the best sandwich we’d ever had. Mine was absolutely amazing. The owner and staff were so pleasant and kept the place very clean, which is very important considering what we’re having to live through. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE. 😢“

“I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

“As always, Olive Garden provided good food and lots of it for fair prices. Marissa, our server, was attentive and pleasant. The calamari appetizer, although a bit overdone, was plentiful with enough to take home. The seafood Alfredo was creamy and loaded with tender shrimp and scallops. The carbonara was delicious with shrimp and chicken. And the black tie mousse cake was luscious. We had enough left over for 2 more meals at home.“

“Small family owned joint, 16 bucks for a Large combo so pretty average nowadays for pho. The large here is huge compared to some places. Could use more protein (besides tripe, theres no shortage of that LOL). Broth doesnt need a bunch of sauce to make it flavourful, its good on its own. Id give it a 4.5 sheckle stars“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant before I even had my kids… this place is family owned and ran! From the grandparents starting it to the daughter doing it and now her kids are doing it!!! The food is always good here there are never off days the restaurant has not changed any flavors over the many years it’s the original taste I got when I started eating here 20 years ago .. the vibe is fantastic with the music playing and the full bar in the back and party room sometimes they have a mariachi band playing this place is good for seniors because of the fair prices and middle age people with thier family’s.. Kids are treated like family and the experience is just wonderful!! Enjoy the colorful decorations and make some great friends that become family💚 you will be back I promise you!! “I’ve gotten blue sky before and they’re good. They’re not Panda Express, this is a family mom and pop shop. All in all, I’d say nothing to complain about. I’ve ordered shrimp chow mein and chicken chow mein before. Quality is up there. The chicken is tender and not rubbery like some joints. Although, and I hope I’m wrong, when I called in an order and asked them to have the chicken and chow mein separate (they usually mix it together), the lady over the phone said something along the lines of “oh, uh, well, uh, it’s not that we cook them earlier, but we can’t separate the chicken from the noodles because it cooks that way for flavor.” That got me a little suspicious. Come on…. It’s not like food kept warm is bad, but it sounds like she was being conservative when saying that, making me wonder how old the chow mein really is. Anyways, lol, overall good food. Can’t complain, but nothing to rave about either. 3.7ish, call it a 4 star.“

I’ve only tried and fallen for these sandwiches: chicken salad & turkey cranberry. But my parents raved about their salads and after taking bites, I gotta say their Greek and South west salads are so yummy! All of their ingredients are super fresh and everything is prepared to order and we can taste the difference.

“Thank you to Brandy for being an amazing manager! Darin and Brandy are wonderful and very giving. I work at the UPS store and they provided us with TWO catering trays AND two hundred coupons to put in our grab bags for our grand re opening. So kind. Not to mention I used to work at mr pickles and the sandwiches are yummy and they cut all the meat, cheese, and veggies daily. I also love their concern for customers with gluten allergies, everything is prepared separately with freshly washed utensils HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
