“For me, the yard house is a quick easy date night option for me and my lovely wife. There is ample seating so generally I have experienced short wait times. That said, it's never a bad idea to put a reservation in. The staff has been friendly from my experience. It's not a good place to go if you want a quiet evening, however It's a great place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and the ability to watch some sporting events. They have a large drink menu if that's your thing. I'm pretty simple in terms of my food tastes so I haven't tried any of the fancier plates. I am a burger and fries kind of guy and I have been pleased with what I have ordered.

Kid-friendliness: I would take my kids here. I have little ones so it's actually a great place because they can be loud and it isn't a problem due to the bustling nature of the restaurant.“

“This Roseville restaurant is not quite as good as the Folsom location was before it closed. We were there on a Thursday night. The salad bar/hot buffet was first rate, but I was disappointed with some of the meats. The bbq ribs were overcooked, the lamb chops over seasoned, and Folsom had better candied bacon. This place is VERY popular for celebrating special occasions. There were at least 6 birthdays the night we visited.“

“My hubby surprised me with dinner at High Steaks for my birthday the night of the Chris Daughtry concert. It was our first time there. The staff were wonderful. Not only was our waiter very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, but we also had another waiter stop by our table and gift us with upgraded seats to the concert! “I came in for a late thanksgiving dinner, me a traveling businessman, lonely because my wife won’t talk to me anymore. I needed to get stuffed. Like stuffed harder than that turkey. Boy did I get fulfilled. My waiter Drew catered to my every need, even bringing me more melted butter and another hot plate as I shoveled fistful another fistful into my gullet. The turkey was divine. I could bathe in that gravy. The way you can force feed a goose. That’s how I felt. Stuffed like a turducken. Just one after another, then I don’t think I can take another….just cover it in butter and slip it in. Amazing.“
