“Just came by for a leisurely Labor Day early lunch and Manny did not disappoint. We ordered two #3 combos, so 6 meats and 8 sides for 4 people. We had the brisket, tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and the chicken. For the sides, we had 3 smoked beans, potato salad, 2 cole slaw, and 2 mac salads. It was nothing short of a feast! The meats were well-smoked, flavorful, juicy, and Manny was as kind as he was generous and attentive. He threw in 4 free sodas, free bread, a free side (we went with an extra cole slaw), and threw on a free kielbasa as well! We couldn't finish everything and the food we took home would easily make for an extra meal for all of us. We drove all most an hour, in the rain, from Torrance; this was not our first dining experience here, and it was just this kind of generosity and service that we experienced the first time that brought us back and will continue bringing us back as long as he stays in business.

“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“

“The newish bartender Amanda is great! I hadn't been to the bench in a while and I found the food offerings to be really good. Sometimes the salsa could use more heat(you have to ask for the non gringo version) but otherwise great all around. I will keep coming back for Amanda for sure. World cup games on almost every screen is great too“

“I've been to this location twice and have had a great experience both time. No extra bells and whistles but fast service and great food. Took my daughter to try the om cheese burger and it delivered! She loved it. She went crazy with The mozzarella sticks to see how far they stretched. And oh boy did they stretch. I loved the privacy but the constant check-in from the server and even the manager who is extremely friendly, super nice and crazy attentive made you feel like family. This location is definitely worth checking out if you're on a date or spending family time.“

“This was a nice small town bar. They have beer and mixed drinks. It was quite comfortable and they were able to get a fold out table to accommodate my wheelchair. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bartender, Elicia, was great. All in all it was a good experience.

“First of all I need to say I had a great meal. The burger was delicious! I was surprised how big the burger was too because I was expecting something small but it came with a knife and fork...(Tbh, I was like, naaah I don't need that but ended up using it to cut my burger into fourths haha).

Legit, I asked for medium and that burger was medium. Slightly salty fried but damn they were seasoned nicely. Cold beer glasses were a nice plus. They serve them in mugs just fyi.

I wanted to sit at the bar but it was full, they have TVs showing sports games, and as the hour passed the entire place started to fill in. This place is busy.

I must have arrived right before the rush, and my food came out in 10ish minutes, but even others food was coming out at a great pace.

Islands is a loud restaurant which is why I gave a 3 in atmosphere, but personally I like that! I like that I can hear my food being made, my servers chatting, guests filling in, 80s freestyle bumping, a birthday party popping off... Bring headphones if you prefer the quite. But despite the rumble I could chat with my server just fine.

Shout out to Karen H. (They gave my permission to use their name). Incredibly helpful and attentive. In fact the entire staff were. They guy who brought my food out even asked if I needed anything.

The place looked clean, smelled clean, and the silverware looked clean. The restroom was also clean/recently cleaned. Huge!

“Been to many many a bar in my lifetime. Scratch's is definitely top 3 for me. Huge brew selection, fair prices, great food, very comfortable atmosphere and it seems to be a magnet for very attractive women. Love the dart league

Parking: There are good number of spots in front of the location and then there is a huge shared parking lot with home Depot and del Taco that isn't being used by the other businesses later in the night and is never full in the day anyway.“

“Love the pizza. I wish they would expand their toppings. The one complaint is their online ordering form by Tabit.us is terrible to use. The fields for data entry are too small, and you can’t see if you’ve made an entry error. For example when entering my phone number I accidentally hit one wrong number, and didn’t see it until it went to send the confirmation code to the wrong number. I used the back arrow, and was not able to enter a new phone number. I deleted the whole order, reordered, and it pulled up the wrong phone number again. The only way I was able to place an order was to delete the order AGAIN, log out of the website, log back in, and select NO to Use location? Terrible ordering experience that could easily be fixed with a better form design. It’s not rocket science.“
