“We went at 9 a.m., and our table was set up, so we had no wait. Always a good experience.
UPDATE: We went again today and were very, very pleased with the service. The staff was friendly, prompt, and accommodated a dish that was not what I anticipated. It was returned with a smile and replaced with another dish without any problems. The menu looks so good that we will be back to choose more. We love the coffee carafe on the table.“

“Traveling north to Yosemite, we stopped to get gas at Costco on Clovis, and across the street was Huckleberry’s. Wow! It was delicious! I had the Louisiana Skillet—shrimp, andouille, potatoes, peppers, and eggs. The beignets were incredible! Everyone loved their meal. And they were able to accommodate my son’s food allergies. Great atmosphere, service, and food! How will we live without it in Utah?!?!?!“

“Very good coffee and service. I was in Fresno for 12 days and this was my go to cafe for cappuccino. My friend from LA said his latte was excellent. They close on Sundays and Holidays, missed their coffee on NYE and New Years day but I understand. I went to the "standard" cafe in Clovis the morning I was leaving Fresno and it was also excellent. Great business, great people, and great service.“

“I love the outdoor patio seating. There is a huge fountain in the center of the patio, large plants all around, and it has a ‘Paris Cafe’ feel. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the food arrives quickly and hot. The food presentation looks like it came from a travel magazine. The food is reasonably priced, for the amount of food that you get. The food is delicious every time. Everything on the menu is delicious! I would highly recommend the Breakfast House. They make the best Belgian waffles in town and they use fresh strawberries, whipped cream and cinnamon sugar dust! The bacon is crispy and savory and the eggs are fluffy and rich. The crepe eggs Florentine were delicious as well! They also have a full bar, so you can enjoy a mimosa with your brunch!“

“First time today! Service is fast and kind. The food was very fresh and had great flavor, we tried the Mediterranean salad, chicken soup, brisket sandwich, coffee, and tea and everything was really good! Prices aren't too bad compared to similar restaurants, and considering the location. They have a bakery too, so I'm excited to try the baklava and cakes we took home!“

“My husband and I are out visiting the parks and we really needed something early in the morning to start the day off right. This amazing little store not only opened up at 530 (huge win for us) but the breakfast sandwiches were affordable and delicious! I only wish you could get a scrambled egg instead of the egg that comes with the sandwich. Totally wish we had one of these back in Kentucky!“

“The service was extremely friendly, helpful, mindful, etc, and I highly recommend this restaurant, but the food came very slow. If you're in a rush, and it is a busy moment, this is not the spot. However, when the food did eventually come, it was very good. Well prepared, hot, good stuff.

Little dingy, but that's what you should expect from a spot in downtown, just like the tower or most spots in San Francisco for example. Very popular spot, usually pretty full of nice comfortable people having a nice meal. Just as we were leaving, someone was getting interviewed in the front of the store for a job opening.

The booths are comfortable, and the tables are clean. The waiters are on top of things, and everything runs pretty darn smoothly. I admit that I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so the coffee was not necessarily impressive (metallic notes, and somewhat bland) but it was perfectly serviceable coffee, and for $4.60 roughly you should get a pot along with your cup, bottomless.

We ordered pancakes, and they were delicious. The waiter who took our order helped us get a better deal by encouraging us to order one serving of five pancakes, instead of two servings of two pancakes. She split them for us on two plates. Thank you!

My one complaint is that the food came slowly, but it was a busy moment, there were a lot of people there. Highly recommend anyway!“

“First time trying BJ’s Kountry Kitchen in Fresno on Ashlan♥️ right when you enter the doors you are greeted with a smile. All the works are amazing and very happy. The restaurant it self has a home feeling. I had the Chile Verde omelette with the country fried potatoes, and the food was just as amazing as the picture looks that I attached. So good I recommend this dish. So overall this place was not only amazing but delicious ? will definitely be going back.“

“I enjoyed the French toast. It was very thick and yummy. The service was a little slow. Although they apparently had a large to go order, but it seemed like everyone was focused on that. My bacon and eggs showed up when I was almost finished with my French toast and I ordered a combo. The hostess was very distracted and people walked out because she wouldn't even acknowledge them. I understand a large order is important, but so are your walk-in customers.“

“Just a couple of seniors visiting family in Fresno looking for a place to have a late dinner. We settled for IHOP and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server Tami and the Chef created a plate that was no longer offered on the menu. We ordered Chicken Florentine crepes and pot roast. It was all cooked to perfection. We didn't stop there! Then we shared the best stack of pancakes that were piping hot. Thank you to all the staff for all you do. We are grateful and very satisfied.“
