“They've got great food, all cooked-to-order. So far, I've had their hot dogs, pizza, garlic fries, and a couple of other offerings. You can't go wrong. Though a bar first, I wouldn't (and haven't) hesitate(d) to drop in for dinner.Get there while there is still daylight, and you will be rewarded with an incredible view of the hills surrounding Colfax, and if you're lucky, a train snaking its way up (or down) the Sierras.The decor here is ultra-cool. Upon entry, you will understand why it is aptly named the Red Frog. But look a little closer.... everywhere. I have enjoyed this place several times throughout its years in existence. “Came here to here on 1/4 at nighttime and the worker gave me the best service I have probably ever had from a mcdonald's, didn't get the name but she had blonde hair and glasses. Very sweet! Also food was good and fries were pretty fresh. Looks like a clean mcdonald's also but didn't go inside.“

“Great place for a little lunch after a hike! Awesome malts, grilled cheese sandwiches and my kids said the burgers were delicious! Sweet potato fries and garlic fries are amazing! Staff is really nice. You can sit inside or outside.Vegetarian options: they have a veggie burger, but I had a grilled cheese sandwich - it came on a delicious, grilled bun.“

“Can't get enough of these BBQ's in my mouth! The sauce fills your palate with a whole bunch of goodness. Lately my UTI has been messing with me, but that won't stop me from coming back! The workers are incredible to say the least, unfortunately they don't have that one handsome chocolate gentlemen working there anymore. But Anel (I think that's his name) satisfies me regardless. I get lonely during the holidays but seeing these chocolate and mocha workers twinkles my winkle!! “They're providing fast service in the drive-through. I appreciate this, especially because so many businesses are closed right now, due to the threat of Covid-19. My orders have been accurate and the service has been friendly.Update: It is now April of 2024. The restaurant is fully open. The dining area, restrooms and parking lot are clean. The service is still expeditious. The food is the same quality it has always been. My favorite is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger.“

“Their French toast is so good.I ordered it one day and they ran out of bread and drove to buy more bread in the rain to make the French toast. I also always drink the Mayan mocha which is a yummy treat too.Parking: Can find parking right in front of the cafe or along the street.“
