Everyone was so genuinely friendly and made our whole family feel welcome ( even the wiggly toddler) We were in the bay area on vacation and our awesome server went full travel guide. He whipped out a map and circled must see parts of town/ landmarks and places be cautious about. The food was yummy, classic diner fare and the ambiance was so fun and sassy. Hands down my favorite place we went on the city!“

“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“I’m not a fan of pasta but their chicken parmigiana is lit. I love their omelettes and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and the avocado was fully loaded on the toast.

Great ambience and love their freshly squeezed orange juice which I love it. Great staff! I’d go back again!“

“I was here for the second time this morning and I absolutely loved it once again. The food is fresh and tasty, the place has a really nice vibe to it, the weekday breakfast special is great value and they are very accommodating. Best part must be the waitress working there, tho. Forgot her name sadly but she was there both times I went and she's genuinely friendly and not over the top at all. It's so refreshing to actually get good service and not have it feel like a show!

“Was REALLY disappointed to discover Sliders had removed the self-serve bar, but I understand the difficulty of maintaining something like that, especially during the COVID era. For YEARS I used to get a double patty chili cheeseburger with fries. At the condiment bar I would add mushrooms, olives, onions and mayo. Now, no more condiment bar, or custom chili burgers, but its still a great San Francisco lunch spot. Definitely recommend.
Edit: Recently tried their Philly cheesesteak...it is the ONLY cheesesteak sandwich I can eat without adding condiments. No mayonnaise, no anything: just the seasoned meat, cheese and bun -- its perfect as is. Well done!“

“We tried this shop during our stay in the neighbourhood and loved the pancakes here. It’s a two-person-run business (one cook and one person handling the cashier, taking orders, preparing tables, and clearing up), so please be patient with the owner. She really does her best to take care of every customer, especially considering her age.

For the basic breakfast, you can choose your bread (white, wholegrain, or sourdough) and how you’d like your eggs cooked. Another homey breakfast option. 👍“

“Locally owned old-school diner. Prompt service, lovely staff, perfect food. Not fancy, but who wants that when you want an American diner. Background music (radio), kitchen sounds, and patrons make a nice sound space where nothing is too glaring.“

“It was my first time trying David's Delicatessen & Diner ever and decided to stop in for breakfast and I was exceptionally impressed with the Shakshuka it was absolutly INCREDIBLE and I would Highly Reccomend eating it with the Toasted Jewish Bread. When I ran out of bread the server brought me some without any issue. It's truly amazing that this deli has been here for 74 years! We also tried the Rueben and my wife was especially impressed. I would come back again. EASY 5 Stars!“

“This is a really nice neighborhood diner. The food is fresh and the staff are very friendly. We had a really nice time and really enjoyed the food. We had walked all the way down from Lombard near fort Mason. It was a healthy walk and we really worked up an appetite.“

“I’ve been looking for proper Peking duck in San Francisco for a long time, and Win’s Restaurant absolutely delivers. This place is legit.

The duck is fantastic — expertly prepared, beautifully roasted, crisp skin, tender meat, and done the way it’s supposed to be. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just excellent execution. Exactly what I was hoping to find.

Service was equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience.

We also ordered the beef organ soup, which was outstanding — rich, comforting, deeply flavorful, and clearly made with care. Not something you see done well everywhere, and they nailed it.

If you’re serious about Chinese cuisine and have been searching for a place that does things above board, this is it. Couldn’t recommend it more. I’ll absolutely be back.“
