“I go weekly and they've changed their frosting. King's had the best donuts for the longest time, but a couple of months ago they changed their frosting, and it's a bad change. It's sweeter, and not as flavorful. Tastes less like chocolate and more like sugar. My kids don't care, and the donut batter and cook is still good, but it's a worse donut than it was a year ago.“

“I take my grandchildren here all the time. The Korean corn dogs are more reasonably priced than other places. The staff barely crack a smile but they aren't at all rude.

“They have the best chocolate frosted old fashioned donuts in the area. I'm very picky about my donuts, and these surpass the mark for my enjoyment. A lot of people rave about the other items they serve. I tried the bagelwich and was unimpressed with the bagel, especially for the price, it was like thin bread and I thought I probably should have gone with a croissant like the cashier suggested. I'll keep going back for the donuts and try other items if I'm hungry when I'm there but I wouldn't recommend the bagels.“

“My son turned 6 while we were on vacation and a family member bought him a donut cake to celebrate, which was a new (and delightful) to us experience. A week later back home, we hosted a birthday party for him and his friends and also wanted to celebrate with a donut cake. We love Johnny's Donuts and contacted Kim to ask if they were able to do this special order which she was excited to do in spite of the fact that they had never made one before and was willing to try it out. Apparently you need special machinery to make them but we appreciated that they took on the challenge and freehanded the design!! Kim called the day before the scheduled pickup to confirm. Upon pickup, they even gifted the bday boy with his own donut and was just a delight to work with. We are loyal fans, and will be ordering donut cakes again in the future!!“

“Whenever I come to Pittsburg, I stop at Al’s. I’m not much of a donut eater, but these are classic American donuts. The apple fritter will have your heart racing literally it’s so much sugar and so good. Definitely a treat. The glaze are perfect, fluffy and sweet cooked all the way through but light and not bogged down by oil as a kid I love stopping there and getting hot chocolate and donut on the way to school is still good but there are a lot of other options and it’s a cool place to get your lottery tickets.“

“We have been buying their donuts, ham and cheese and mochas for 29 years. They are the best around. Superior to anyone else in the area, and we have tried them all. Plus their staff is the best. We've done both dine in and take out. We love to sit and eat whatever we buy either inside or outside. Both places are pleasant. Just depends on our mood at the time.

We drive from Vacaville to this location and so glad we need and will do it again! The drinks DELICIOUS!“

I ordered a Supreme Pineapple Green Tea with stir fried boba and chizu (cheese) cream and half a dozen mochi donuts: funnel cake, black sesame, churro, strawberry shortcake, taro, and Captain Crunch.
