The Food is pretty good. Better than most franchises here in Seafood City. HOWEVER, their service is SUPER SLOW! They are seriously understaffed with only 2-3 people working. The workers prepare your food super slow and when the line is only like 3 people, it could take like 5-10 minutes until its your turn. 😒 Also their PRICES with the portions of food they give you is terrible, like one BBQ w/ rice for $13.99 is ridiculous and stupid. They have authentic Philippine food. I ordered the bbq chicken skewers and beef with eggplants. Both are ok. I also order fried fish. The fish is very bad. Overly fried and taste bad.
Inconsistent with the food. Grilled items no taste, they should marinate the meat for it to be tender and tasty. The cooked food is mostly bland. Sometimes they hit the spot but not too often. Buy if you must but don’t expect a lot.

Grill City offers Filipino grilled food that is consistent in taste. While some dishes like the chicken skewers are always a good treat, others like the kare kare can be bland. The pompano (fried fish) was tasty but a bit soggy, best paired with spiced vinegar. The BBQ sticks are a highlight, and the pork BBQ is also liked, although some dishes are just okay and not seen as a good value. Popular items like the fried Bangus (milk fish) tend to sell out quickly. The restaurant has a cafeteria-like atmosphere, and while the food is sometimes not served hot, loyal customers appreciate the great service for both eat-in and takeout. Despite some cleanliness issues in the restroom, customers still enjoy dining here and are willing to return for the familiar flavors.
