“The food and service here never disappoint! Everything is always on point, and An, our waitress, is the sweetest, she really goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The soy garlic wings were incredibly delicious, packed with so much flavor that we couldn’t get enough. We always leave here happy and satisfied!“

“Fries are hot and fresh. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Wish they had more vegan dips, like an aoii or pesto or something, and a ketchup dispenser would be nice so I don't have to ration packets.
Vegetarian options: Fries and tots.
Dietary restrictions: I believe the fries are battered/floured and I don't think anything is gluten free.“

“Carbon is easily one of the best restaurants in San Diego! My boyfriend and I had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner there—great service, delicious drinks, and incredible food. I ordered the pistachio campanelle, which was an easy 11/10, and my boyfriend had the picanha steak—also 11/10! We shared a sangria, and to top it off, they surprised us with cannolis on the house. Our waitress, Michelle, was attentive and so much fun. Plus, if you’re sitting outside and get chilly, they even have blankets. We’re still talking about it. We’ll definitely be back with friends!“

“We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! We now have a new GoTo! We will recommend them again and again!“

“I grew up in the OC/LA area on the original Pioneer Chicken in the 80’s and 90’s, traveled all over and know my fried chicken. This spot was on point! Chicken was crispy and juicy. The hot sauce made it all the better. Drawn butter makes dressing your cornbread easy, it soaks in quickly, add some honey and let’s go!! Mashed potatoes were hearty, little on the dense side which isn’t a negative. Gravy was flavorful and savory. Price point was affordable. I got a 2 piece meal and drink for less than what most places charge for a burrito these days! I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“The prices, food, and service are all great here. Their menu also had plenty of options for a group that included one vegetarian and one gluten-free individual. As an added bonus, the place is easy to get to and has plenty of parking available.
Vegetarian options: I had the jalapeño, zucchini, loroco, mushroom, and spinach pupusas, along with sides of yuca and plantain.
Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of pupusa options with vegetable fillings, and the masa is wheat-free. Vegetarians and gluten-free individuals should find plenty of options. Vegans might be limited to things like the yuca, curtido, and cheese-free pupusas.“

“I had seen this place on insta and had been wanting to try it. We order a half chicken with the signature sauce and it was very delicious! 10/10 The sauce was good and the chicken was tasty. We also had the onion rings, I liked them but there was nothing special 8/10. The cheese balls were good, but not my fav since they were sweet on the outside and I am personally not a fan of sweet. Unfortunately, many of their items were sold out, many of them the popular ones, and which I was hoping to try. Other than that it was a great meal, I would recommend and will be back ☺️
Kid-friendliness: The have chairs for babies.“

“Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because they got my order wrong. I called in and ordered two orders of 8 piece wings and they made one of my orders a half piece of whole chicken instead of wings. Other than that great experience.“

“Best. Fried. Chicken. In San Diego. Go get it! Recommended flavors in no particular order are spicy, soy garlic, yangnyeom (seems to be a wonderful balance of spicy and soy garlic with a bit of sweet), and their plain (no sauce) shows just how masterful they are at their primary product. Wings, dummies, strips. It's all good. Great for takeout or dine in. They have some unique spirits and cocktails as well.“

“Love the manager at this location, friendly to both staff and customers.
Parking: Strip mall, only 4 parking spots directly in front... I wish that they would post them for disabled, families and the elderly. Walking across traffic is hazardous for these groups of people.“

“I had a good bacon cheese burger at this recently opened Juicy Burger near SDSU. I ordered the single original cheeseburger with added bacon and made it a combo with fries and a drink, which came amount with taxes to $14 and some change.
The burger was tasty and came with fresh ingredients. The burger came with a 1/4 oz patty, a slice of cheese, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and a tasty thousand island dressing on a toasted brioche bun.
The beef patty was flavorful and lightly seasoned. The brioche bun was really good and held the burger well together, but it did need to be better toasted and warmer. The combo came with fries, which were of the thick variety. They came lightly seasoned and were good.
The service at the counter was very good. The young lady at the counter was welcoming and in good spirits. They offer a good amount of inside seating. Beer will be on tap soon. Free retail parking in the garage of the same building.“

“The aroma sorta calls you in. It was a very welcoming atmosphere especially with the music playing. I knew it was in for some authentic Korean fried chicken. The menu displayed a host different flavors and heat levels. I chose the original spicy and their wings of fire, a sweet and spicy Asian BBQ. Everything met my expectations ???“

“If you love Thai food like I do, you should definitely try Thai Time 3 (TT3). This unassuming restaurant, a bit off the beaten path (in the back of a Clairemont mall, off Genesee and Balboa, with not the best up-close parking), is currently my favorite Thai in the entire country, though I have to admit I haven't given LA a chance yet... And, not sure how you heat-seeking/spicy folks will like it, as I saw a one-star review of them that must have been from a heat lover or competitor?, but their mild (read least hot; I think they use a 1-3 scale), food, is the best Thai, and some of the best restaurant food overall, I've ever had. What passes for heat at other Thai restaurants, here, is replaced by an amazing subtlety of flavors, with each dish I've tried so far, revealing several distinct layers of flavor over time. For instance I'm a curry guy, who doesn't normally eat the noodle dishes, and my go-to green curry here was bordering on the over-the-top richness of a "Legal Seafood's" NE clam chowder (for you Boston folk), with fresh tender (thank you) mint, and exquisitely marinated eggplant you don't often get in curries... a first for me was no green beans weirdly though, but I didn't miss them. and their "Pad See Ew?" which I find bland and unappealing elsewhere, was amazing enough to make me switch my usual order on a second visit - it was sweet and smoky with other indescribable flavors in between. The only thing I would improve maybe was the quality/supplier of the mock duck, but I could get real duck to fix that -- Maybe it's me, but I'm pretty sure less 'spongy' mock duck exists. [E.g., Taiwanese mock meats are amazing!]) But. it was ok for what it is... but please don't shortchange your vegetarians...) To counter that, the hostess was amazingly nice, helpful and knowledgable about the food. With Thai being my go-to "exotic" meal, I've been fortunate to try it all over the country (Boston, Dallas, DC, SF, New Orleans,) and while, at it's worst, it's still great -- why I love it -- Thai Time 3 was the first Thai place I've come across, with an expansive, notably different approach to the flavors, (don't worry the flavors will still be the classics you love, but with lots more depth). To put it another way -- the only difference in quality between Thai restaurant I've seen normally is in quality-of-ingredients, as opposed to better, surprising flavors. Maybe it's more like like a chef's approach to a genre that can sometimes rest on its laurels - lackluster dry chicken, etc, TT3'a approach is unique -- and especially appreciated in a rising-price environment, where you can get okay green curries from a jar. (I have to say that I'm sensitive to MSG, and it'd be embarrassing if that's the special sauce, didn't seem like it, as I didn't feel any effects, so maybe the owner will address that in a response.) Anyhow, getting something special from a meal out these days is appreciated. (Better stop dad-ologuing...) My complements to the chef....
Vegetarian options: Seems like standard Thai veg options.“
