“No lie- Its rare to see a restaurant that can keep a high level of reviews. This is no lie! Steamy Piggy was FIRE. Ramen was TOP 10 hands down. A Creamy smooth slightly sweet pork tonkotstu. perfectly cooked thin Chasu pork medium noodles. the egg was not marinated well but if u let it sit til the end it absorbed the broth well. The pineapple fried rice was also spot on perfectly cooked shrimp and the hint of sweetness from the pineapple hit.

“I rarely come to this area due to no parking along 30th. You’ll have to snatch one along the side streets in the residential area.

It was well worth it and be sure to call in to make a reservation. They don’t have on line version.

We each ordered our own plate but had a chance to sample all. Four of our six items were their signature items, circled on the menu.

We ordered a mixture of pasta and meat dish. 3 of us had placed our order while the 4th came late but surprisingly, all of our dishes made it out at the same time! Kuddos to the chef!

-Arugula salad: refreshing

-Beef cheek pappardelle: my fav type of pasta. It’s handmade! The beef cheek was the winner in its tenderness.

-Picanha steak (the entree): this was a preset entree with your steak smothered in a mushroom topping. Although you could sub out your sides.

-From the grill choose 3: I chose picanha steak, peperonata which is a stewed vegetable dish, and bell pepper chimichurri sauce. I expected more from the sauce, it was mainly bell peppers.

-Pistachio Campenelle: very nutty and cheesy, the pancetta was really thin and almost dissolved

-Eggplant croque (4 pieces): I was getting full from eating 2!

The picanha steak is on the menu twice. Both same price. Once as a pre set entree where your steak is topped with a mushroom sauce.

If you choose picanha from the grill list then it’s just a plain steak and you pick your sauce and side.

I have to say, I enjoyed both. I ordered my plain steak medium yet it was more tender than my friend who ordered medium rare from the entree version. Both of our cuts were extremely chewy. Although more fatty, the skirt steak might have been a better choice.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. “We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! We now have a new GoTo! We will recommend them again and again!“

“Absolutely love the variety of combos. It allows you to have some of everything in one order. Food was hot and freshly served. Thumbs up on the Mac n cheese, candied yams with my order. They ran out of catfish at the days end today otherwise, It would have been my 2nd consecutive order. Also loved the signature taste of the chicken, and the fact that it was very hot and freshly served. I eat more at home than I do out, but many of their items are like home cooked so I will be back! “Good fresh pizza that you can purchase by the slice or purchase the entire pie. The have an $11.00 special where you can get two slices of pizza and a soft drink. I believe for the dollars more you can upgrade to one beer. They usually have 10 different pizzas available and you can eat inside out outside in their large patio. Not the most cleanest feeling place but the pizzas are great. They also go sandwiches and pasta dishes but I can't comment on those as I haven't tried them yet. Good place to eat just before you go out to the beach to watch the sun set.“

The fried rice was nothing short of amazing--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of seasoning. It was the ideal start to an incredible meal.

Now, let's talk about the kimchi. Traditional, spicy, and packed with that authentic kick that really takes it to the next level. It's hands down my favorite kimchi I've had in ages! And speaking of favorites, the coleslaw was absolutely to die for. The tangy vinegar and black pepper profile was so refreshing and unique, it completely stole the show for me. Seriously, it might be the best I've ever had.

But let's get to the main event: the wings. Oh my goodness, the wings! Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned--they're by far the best I've ever had. We went with the ginger soy and traditional Korean BBQ sauces, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The ginger soy had that sweet and savory balance, while the Korean BBQ was just the right amount of smoky and tangy. Each bite was a perfect burst of flavor.

Bonchon is a true gem if you're looking for incredible Korean flavors that are both comforting and exciting. I can't recommend it enough!“

“Pelicana Chicken was a great takeout option experience. I first visited this location and used the kiosk to decide on what to order. But my friend and I had a lot of questions, so we asked the staff a lot of them. She was very nice and explained the differences and gave her recommendations.

We decided to get the signature chicken with sauces on the side. We got the original and honey mustard. We also got an order of the corn cheese. It didn’t take long for us to get our order and leave. However, when we got home, we noticed the radish was missing.

Overall, the food was really great. The signature sauce was better than the honey mustard. The service was fast and quick. We went on a Saturday around 4:30 pm and it wasn’t very busy. But the plaza parking was crowded. They do accept American Express at the kiosk.“
