Nobu Del Coronado Reviews
Food was average at best. Edamame tasted like whats its supposed to be but its kinda hard to screw that up though. Their Okra dish was the only one that was actually good. We had a variety of nigiri and only one that was good was their tamago Nigiri. Other hot dishes we had were also average. Nobu has always been very disappointing for me.

Just stopped in for a drink before our dinner and sat at the bar outside. Our bartender, Will was fantastic. He was very kind and attentive. Definitely will be back.
Worst Nobu I’ve ever been too. Is this a franchise?? The lobster truffle dish was $90 yet it was chewy and flavorless. The service was mediocre at best. Other dishes were really good but if you want your entire meal to be yummy (as Nobu typically is) go to the downtown location.

Nobu Del Coronado receives mixed feedback. The food is described as average at best by some, with edamame tasting as expected and an Okra dish being the only good item. A variety of nigiri is mentioned, with only the tamago Nigiri standing out. Other hot dishes are also average. One reviewer calls it the worst Nobu, noting the lobster truffle dish was chewy and flavorless, though other dishes were really good. The nigiri pricing is seen as screwed up, with a minimum order of 2 per nigiri causing hassle for servers. However, others find the food phenomenal and fantastic, recommending the yellowtail jalapeño, crispy rice, and the “new roll” that has salmon. The black miso cod alone is worth a return. Service experiences vary: some praise attentive servers and a fantastic bartender, while others find service mediocre. The view is beautiful, decor lovely, and hospitality excellent at times.
