“It’s exactly like a drive through. Love the vegan burgers and shakes. While some of the ingredients may be from the Amy’s line of frozen meals, most of the food is much better and freshly made. Like the burger patty may be from the Amy’s factory but the bun and all the toppings and sauces are fresh and tasty! My daughter had the kid’s bean burrito which was exactly the same as the frozen one, and it came with freshly made hummus and carrots. Will definitely go back whenever passing through Marin County!“

“There are plenty of places around that serve bagels. As a former New Yorker, I have my own opinion about bagel quality and whitefish spread. This funky place has been around for years, and for a good reason. The bagels actually have been made properly-boiled, then baked. They have just the right amount of tooth feel when you bite into them. The whitefish spread actually tastes like white fish and isn't over salted. This is one of those little local places off the beaten track that is really worth discovering.

“This place is really great-very affordably priced extremely chewy bagels toasted to perfection and my personal favorite garlic chive cream cheese. I get the salt bagel every time and it slaps. Has the chew of a NY style bagel, not those bready bagels that everywhere else in California seems to sell. My husband is from Long Island NY and approves. They are obviously made with care! Weekends get busy, but the staff is friendly and efficient and they make the line go quick. I disagree with the low ratings-I hope people in the area appreciate how nice it is that we can get a decent bagel in this town!“

Came by right at opening and they were ready to go. Had a delicious Vietnamese iced coffee and breakfast croissant. This is the best coffee spot in the area (arguably the city). I’ll try to make an effort to go back if I can (I’m rarely in this area), but if you are I highly recommend it!

“I came in today randomly for the first time today from the pet store nearby. I was really hungry but didn't know what to do because I had my dog with me. I called and told the lady over the phone told her if I could place the order and if they could bring it out for me because I had my dog. She said, no don't worry, you come in and pay and leave it's okay. They have tile floor so it made sense and really I appreciated that I didn't have to go hungry. My tuna melt was tasty, but what really made my day was their freshly baked breads in different flavors sold by the slice, I got pumpkin, zucchini, and banana for my partner. Best store bought bread ever! Soooo delicious! I will be returning.I had a good experience with customer service.Anyway, I am a happy customer.“

“Needed to pick up a quick dessert after enjoying the most amazing pizza a few doors down at Outta Sight. Gateway drew us in with their stacks of pink donut boxes--an immediate sign that this is a legit donut place. Our go-tos: blueberry and crunch which were immediately recognizable in the glass case. The lady behind register was very friendly and before we could assume it was cash only, she brought the POS out for us to tap and go. Gotta love it when a humble mom & pop keeps up w/tech. One excited bite out of each donut and we knew that Gateway would be our fav shop in the city. These donuts are AMAZING. They're fresh but more interestingly, they're sweet without being sickening (think opposite spectrum of a Krispy Kreme). I'm sure there's some kind of sorcery involved behind the recipe, but whatever they're doing is incredible. Even the small detail like the blueberry colored dough inside the donut is testament to their special touch. By the way, 2 donuts only cost us $3.75! What a deal.“

It is small, so if it’s busy be ready to get your food to go.

I loved to see lots of locals in here as well as visitors that walked up from Ghirardelli square. Easy to get to by walking or bus.“

“A nice restaurant in SF that you can’t tell from the outside. It happens to be near our hotel and the price was great. Croissant was $3 and it was quite good. They have a lot Asian dishes and also some American food too. Asian dishes are best in my opinion although not very authentic and some are quite oily, but delicious and affordable compared to nearby options.“

She loves to have everything done with perfection and, let me say that’s what makes Bean Crema & Tea my favorite spot for coffee. “This place is great! A real no-nonsense style set up. The cashier is ready to ring you up, and there are people dispatched immediately to work on your order. You can tell they're well-oiled team and ready for big rushes I am sure they get. As somone who's worked in places like this, noticing they had paper sacks pre-un-folded and puffed up ready to go let me know this. They're not a chain, so while yeah, they could have been more 'smiley', I was there to get coffee and a bagel sandwich fast, and they did just that (and the coffee was decent too AND I drink decaf and I can tell it hadn't been sitting out forever like decaf normally has). I don't usually leave reviews but this place and I doubt they'll ever see it, but it's just exactly what the world is missing nowadays. Simple menu, good prices, fast service, great food, no nonsense. The few seating spots seemed occupied by regulars who seemed very happy to be there. I don't shop in Northgate plaza often, but if I am ever there again in the morning I will plan to hit this spot up.“

Their bread is baked fresh daily, sandwiches are made with that personal touch and the cooler is stocked with a plethora of great choices. They have beer on tap, an outdoor patio area seated away from the bustle of the main road, solid Wi-Fi and plug-ins. My personal favorite is the Lostrami on Dutch Crunch.“
