Stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday night. We saw many elderly Japanese patrons going in and out of the establishment, so I knew this place was going to be good. My husband and I ordered a set menu of pork katsu & beef katsu. I prefer the beef katsu because the meat is a lot more tender, and would order the same one next time we come. Hubby thought the pork katsu was fine. The breading was scrumptious. This place is a solid katsu spot.
A true gem! I felt like I transported to Japan. The decor is very clean with a Japandi aesthetic, and the service is impeccable. My boyfriend ordered the Pork Loin, which had the recommended stamp of approval on the menu. We both thought it was just ok, especially compared to the Mille feuille (no cheese) I ordered. Came here for dinner on a Monday night and there was no waiting. We had the pork loin tonkatsu and the pork tonkatsu curry. Both dishes were pretty good. Service was below average as they never checked on us and we needed to request drink refills. Parking is available in the strip mall.
