Enjoyable experience with superior customer service. Dim-Sun is very good and their Xiao long bao is even better than DTF. A great restaurant next to Bloomingdale's and Happy Hour is one of the best! Reservation strongly recommended!
Food is outstanding. Service is lacking. Our server was inattentive, we rarely saw him. We asked for things he never came back with. We had to ask him to clear dishes out of our way and for new plates because we had our dinner dishes with food still on the table while dessert was delivered. Also never saw a manager once on the floor during our two hour dinner and our server was clearly overwhelmed and needed help.
Mian at South Coast Plaza is one of the best places I've tried for Chinese noodles and comfort food. We ordered a variety of dishes, and overall everything was well prepared with generous portions and fresh ingredients.
My favorite was definitely the Pork & Shrimp Pan-Fried Dumplings. The filling was packed with juicy pork and shrimp, and the crispy golden bottom gave it the perfect texture. This is a must-order.
