I even got my mom and two sisters to visit with me. They found something to try, too! Wish you had a store in Utah, I'd try everything on the menu. I actually got to have ice-cream! “First time trying. Build-your-own poke bowls as well as signature bowls are available. We ordered with tuna and salmon, the base had ramen option which is rare. Fresh and good tasting sauces! They also serve spam musubi which was warm and tasty. Also served boba drinks and smoothies but weren’t available for some reason when we were there. Outdoor seating available for you and your pup.“

“The food was delicious and well presented. Service: flawless. Good prices, especially for Newport Beach. The indoor seating looked nice, but we sat outside, which was comfortable but a little loud from the busy but not quite visible road 30 yards away. Plenty of parking.“

“Oysters are always super delicious and fresh! The list of oysters is extensive and ever changing. The salads are so filling and the clam chowder is the bomb! Staff is always friendly and the service is great.“

“We bought 3 small sandwiches and we were full. They fill those sandwiches perfectly, and they are so flavorful.

Not to mention the beach bites are perfect for an appetizer, or a meal which our son did and he loved the sauce. ( We got it hot, but you can order it cold)

Has a bar area with Tv screens perfect for game days!
Super family friendly, if I lived closer this would definitely be a once a week spot or more.

Vegetarian options: There is a few sandwiches that are vegetarian, but you could definitely substitute things in other sandwiches to be vegetarian friendly and Delicious.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options

Parking: It's in a plaza so but there is parking close by.

Kid-friendliness: Kida menu, the area is spacious. There were other families there at the time.“

“Parking is pretty difficult in this lot. A lot of it is reserved for other businesses in the same vicinity. However, the fried chicken is juicy, crispy, and has the right balance of fat vs meat. The bento order i got was also very filling, and can definitely serve two people for 15 dollars.“

“Consistent food and service, fairly priced. Staff is clearly well trained and will often greet you and ask if you need anything or if you are waiting on an order. My only complaint is they almost never include utensils for online orders (even when you check 'Include utensils', so I hope you have a spoon if you order soup.

Also, not sure if they are under contract with Mendicino's or what, but they have useless "valet parking" some days, which just makes the already small parking lot a bit of a zoo. The valet stand is literally at the parking spots, so it's actually less efficient when there is a valet there. Seems like this same valet company just scams local businesses or lot owners into taking over their parking lots or something, as it seems semi common in costa mesa/newport, and it's always the same valet company. It takes six seconds to pull into a parking spot and several minutes to valet, but they reserve half the parking lot for valet, so it becomes full, and you are forced to valet since those are usually the only open spots. It works in some parking lots, but definitely not this one which is already a narrow entryway that isn't really even two lanes wide and an already small parking lot.

Parking: Some days there is a valet claiming half the parking lot, making finding a spot difficult. There are 3 'limited time' parking spots right in front of the store next to the handicap spots.“
