“I loved it so much!!!
I recently took my wife back to her hometown in La Puente, and we stopped at Snap E Taco in nearby Covina. The food was excellent — flavorful, fresh, and made with care. The portions were generous, and everything tasted just like authentic home-style Mexican food should.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that classic local charm that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why small, family-run spots often beat the big chains.
If you’re in town and craving Mexican food, Snap E Taco is definitely worth the stop. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!“

“Randomly picked this place because of other reviews. Food was unbelievable!!! Had al pastor nachos, shrimp tacos, shrimp tostada. Lots of food, great sauces (made in house). Everything was phenomenal. Wish I could have taken some of the sauces home with me. Friendly service. Family owned business. Can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend you stop by if in the area!“

“Found this restaurant online, due to craving some Mexican food, and the food was amazing, very flavorful I ended up ordering the green enchiladas plus their Horchata which was also very good. Also had their queso fundido and it was very delicious. the customer service was great, and truly enjoyed the ambiance will definitely come back here again.“

“Amazing!! The food is exquisite every single dish plate takes you back to the real Mexican flavor. The service is very nice 👍🏼
Maybe is me, but the music is a little loud only. Everything else is wonderful thank you for feeding us “El Sol 626”
Also the churro dessert was the bomb🥰“

“If you’re looking for a place that actually delivers on both Taco Tuesday and brunch, Mariposas Restaurant & Cantina is it.
Taco Tuesday here is unlike anywhere else. They bring your tacos to the table with your protein of choice — and then you head over to the taco bar to dress them exactly how you want. It’s the best of both worlds: freshly prepared tacos plus full control over toppings. It turns a simple taco night into something interactive and fun.
Weekend brunch is seriously on point. The food is delicious and feels authentic, not watered down for a buffet crowd. And let’s talk about the chile rellenos — it’s rare to find a good one at a buffet, let alone a fresh one. These were legit. Light batter, flavorful filling, and clearly not sitting under a heat lamp all morning.
They also have a taco bar at brunch (yes, please), ceviche, and just about anything else you’d hope to see when you show up hungry. This is not a “grab a plate and be polite” kind of brunch. This is a bring stretchy pants situation.
If you want generous portions, real flavor, and a fun, lively vibe — this spot is worth it.“
