“We stopped here before going back home. I'm glad out of every restaurant there we chose this one. Their fish and chips was the best we've had, so juicy and crispy. Their boudin balls which had sausage I believe and deep fried were also really delicious, never heard of it before but it's now my new favorite. We finished it off with dessert, they had mini bundt cake with warm caramel on top with a side of vanilla ice-cream. It was so decadent, moist and delicious. The service was the best I have ever had. 10/10 I hope they will still be there nex time we take a trip down there again!“

“Stopped by here on a day it rained all day. It was our only day to visit to coastline and it was a bust with the continuous cloud/fog cover. The only reason it wasn't was the Redwoods and this restaurant! The food was great and many locals were eating here as well. It seats family style which makes for the opportunity to meet new folks! We sat and enjoyed chatting with a local who shared with us more fun places to visit and some interesting facts about the area.

The good was exceptional and proportionally large per serving. The lobster bisque was exceptional! I loved my fish and chips! My husband and my aunt's meals were equally delicious!

The unique and fun thing about this restaurant is the docks located outside the windows facing the harbor. The docks were built for our ocean loving friends, sea lions! The docks were filled with them basking in the cloudy sky, and they were a talkative and entertaining bunch! I'. Guessing there were at least 10 sea lions on each dock with 4-5 docks located 100 feet off of the pier on which this restaurant sits. So it's perfect place to watch the sea lions, to grab a bite to eat or grab a window seat and do BOTH! And meet someone new! Best of all worlds!“

“You are my go to place for when we have out of town company! Always so nice to be able to share a fresh local taste with inland dwelling relatives. I took a gamble on a holiday weekend and even though you were clearly busy (and probably had been for days) you processed my fish order in the same friendly way as always. “First time dining at the Boathouse , wasn't quite sure what to order as I don't care for raw fish but will gobble the cooked sushi rolls up like no tomorrow . Of course wife ordered the one I should have gotten , and I accidentally got some raw salmon oh well my fault. Everything was pretty good I felt the menu was a little over welming as it's all in one and kind of like a book but I will say the volcano Roll was straight fire ! presentation ,taste, and price was killer . I know what I'll be getting next time service was fast as I was Hangry and worried it was gonna take forever because there was other patrons dining at the moment. Server was great as well over all I say five stars as I would definitely go back for more great little place to eat in cc“
