“Found this gem online on our way to Redwood. The clam chowder soup was delicious with chunky chunky clams! Fish and chips was a little bland(fries was good). I also had their dinner special halibut entree and it was good. I just wish the sauce could bring out the flavor of the fish more. I'm not sure why the crab cake was popular because I didn't taste any crab.Overall. Clam chowder, yes. Everything else, maybe.Great service! Friendly staff!“
“Such a great place to choose for special nights. The food is great and the views are stunning. The service was prompt and courteous. We started with the beet salad, we got the full and split it. It was plenty big to share and bring some home. The flavor of the tangy balsamic with the sweet pecans and salty feta was fantastic. I got the pork loin, my wife the salmon. These servings were generous too and the flavor of each was just what each of us were looking for. The cheesy polenta with pork was amazing. I'm excited to have enough for lunch too. If you like a casino, enjoy your time there. If not, don't skip this place. This place has a side door and the restaurant ambiance includes a fireplace and a wall of windows. We come and go without going through the casino. No smokiness for us.“
“This restaurant has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the sun set while eating. We ordered the snapper and the seafood fettuccine. We added a side of crab, which was well worth it. The portion of crab was large for the price point. This restaurant is very high quality for the cost.“
“Cool spot sight down by the pier where the catch comes in. We arrived at a really busy time and the staff was super nice. There is a little beach cove where we could entertain the kids while we waited. Food was good and service was very fast.“
“My husband and I celebrated our 33 wedding anniversary together and dinner @ Moonstone Grill was part of the evening. The coconut shrimp was a little over cooked. The steak was perfect and the Brussels sprouts were excellent! The dessert would have been better hot. The view was amazing!“
“Holy cow. I had the Korean street tacos with shrimp and I think I realized what heaven is. They were so delicious. We sat outside because it is a food truck but by no means is it fast food. I would eat these tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner. The only issue is they don't have a location in Arcata or Eureka. I WILL BE coming back. We enjoyed the tacos on a beautiful, warm but arguably windy day and we had been struggling to find a place to eat and luckily this place was open and operating.“
“This is probably the best restaurant in Humboldt County. It is in a beautiful location, and the atmosphere of the place feels very inviting. Food is excellent, I love how a lot of it is locally sourced. One complaint is that the appetizers are too expensive for the amount you get (especially when you split for two). Otherwise the food is delicious! It is perfect for birthdays or anniversaries or other fun nights out!“
