“My boyfriend and I had a lovely anniversary dinner here while on vacation and Jin took great care of us. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was amazing but nothing tops the side sweet potato, they put a honey maple butter on it and it was like… dessert before dessert! They could’ve brought that out as the complimentary dessert but the chocolate layer cake they brought us was delicious too.Also, my boyfriend got the steelhead fish and the lemon was wearing panties!! So fancy!!!“

“I just love their pizza especially their vegetarian and vegan selections. We live not too far from there and it is such a treat to drive by and grab a slice from the daily slice display, they always have a nice selection. The staff is friendly and energy is good in their little pizza shop. It's nice also to have a glass of wine there once in a while. It's our go to especially during football season. We call it in and pick it up. Take it home and have delicious pizza. I highly recommend.“

“While traveling North on the 101 and thinking about coffee, we happened onto The Beachcomber, Trinidad .OMG what a find. The coffee beans/brand “Verve” are 5 star (google it!); the “vibe” amazingly relaxed AND personal.Kye (Chai?) our “barrista” was incredible! While multi-tasking with focused intention on each task, not only did he make fabulous hot white mochas, he was “the proud face” of the establishment. He knew the recent history of the Beachcomber; how Verve coffee beans were selected by the owners, and much more. As I said to my wife when back in the car, “THAT is my kind of place; local, slow paced, great quality.” .. (not your touristy fare)“

“Loved the clam chowder, reminded me of the first time I had it which I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Not too fishy but not too bland it was perfect. I wish I had more! Our drinks were constantly topped off and the servers were very nice and communicative! The burger did seem like it needed a little bit more seasoning but it was still really good and cooked to medium like I wanted. I want to try the Pandemic burger next time! I heard some great things about it. Fries were awesome! I had them with salt and ranch. The flour-less chocolate cake was also amazing and paired so well with the whipped cream and strawberries. My family also really enjoyed their salads and rib-eye steak. Overall it was an amazing experience and I am definitely coming back!“

“Our second time having take out from The Lighthouse Grill. A Thursday evening in mid May. Not too crowded.Service was great - nice person taking orders and the food came out pretty quick.My wife had a Fried Fish sandwich and I had the Beyond Cheeseburger. We split an order of Cheese-Gravy fries (it was huge) and a Greek Salad.The sandwich and burger were cooked spot on - both tasty!The Greek Salad was crunchy, fresh and loaded with olives, tomato’s and cucumber chunks - the dressing a nice slightly sweet Greek dressing.I will warn you - the one order of fries was enough for two (or maybe 3!!!!). Loaded with melted cheese and a rich gravy. A bit more seasoned than what I was expecting - but still very tasty - and filling.“

“It's a cozy little place pretty much right on the beach. The food is great. Steaks and seafood. Only drawback is that it is really expensive. Over $400 with tip for four. We did each have something from the bar, a couple of appetizers, entrees for each of us and shared one dessert. We will go there again. You just have to psych up for the bill?.“

“I was READY to be disappointed. The last time I ordered from this place the food took way too long to get ready and I had to call. I ordered from the Arcata place. This time, the food was ready before the time indicated on Doordash, and the food was great, I was greeted by a very nice staff who offered me wasabi, utensils, and soy sauce. I was pleased and surprised. Great job McKinleyville, team!“

“The place was busy, but plenty of tables to choose from. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was AMAZING! Crispy fries with the citrus salt were we tried the Cuban and the ultimate turkey club. Both were the best thing we ate this trip! The beer was tasty too. Anyone in the area should give it a try.“
