“So yummy, fresh, and healthy tasting!!“

“Fantastic dining experience! My friend took me here while visiting from out of town. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfort, great vibe for a relaxed evening with friends. The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.

The crab cakes were outstanding—packed with jumbo blue crab meat and beautifully prepared. What really elevated the dish was the cream corn accompaniment. Its sweet, creamy richness paired perfectly with the delicate crab. The mango salmon was equally impressive. The sweetness of the mango complemented the salmon perfectly, adding a bright, refreshing contrast that made every bite enjoyable.

The restaurant also offered an excellent wine selection with plenty of options to pair with seafood and other menu items. Will definitely be stopping again on my next trip to Arcata.“

“Our server was fantastic We were seated at a small table in the middle of the room. We asked for something a little bigger and she found a terrific table where we could watch the sunset. Saturday night with no reservations and they were super accommodating. Our appetizer was delivered quick and hot. Our main courses was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.“

“APD has probably the best pizza in the Arcata/Eureka area, but check your pizza. I come and get a pizza here probably twice a month. I always order the same thing, half just cheese, half pepperoni and jalapeño, and more than half the time it comes out half pepperoni, half jalapeño. Then I have to wait for them to remake it. Not sure why that happens so often. But great pizza. Just be sure to check it.“

“We don’t consume alcohol and I selected this spot because the menu did not say that fried fish is beer battered. It was kind of annoying to come there to find that out because every other spot in town had beer battered fish.

However, luckily they had other grilled fish options. The portions were small but it was tasty.“

“Delicious fresh made food! Although the restaurant was busy the waitress and cooks were working hard! While it was beautiful to sit outside, there was a wait so we belly’d up to the bar and watched how efficient and quick everyone worked together. Ordered a cup of their seafood chowder that had clams, shrimp and mushrooms and the Sandy Beach Sandwich with bay shrimp, bacon, green onions and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough. Sitting at the bar we were able to see all of the food that came out! They had a hot and cold crab sandwich that both looked delicious . Their Pub Cod sandwich was huge! The Shrimp Louie salad was big and had a lot of bay shrimp on it. This place was definitely worth the wait! Don’t miss out!“

“Pacific Seafood, that's what the man said, then he said the fish is so fresh you might have to kill it yourself, so take a filet knife with you to jab into it's gills, and a stiff wire to run up it's spinal cord. Well, I followed the instructions to the tee, and got a salmon that was floppin around like a Kardashian in the back of a limo filled with men. MAN-O-MAN that salmon was Amazing! I took half of a side and smoked it to an internal temp of 135 ...and let me tell you...it was Spectacular! Being fresh is the key to any great fish meal, and Pacific Seafood does it Bigly! ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Great spot right on the water. We sat outside on the patio and had a blast watching the harbor seals play in the marina—the setting alone makes it worth the visit. The only minor detractor was a lonely dog barking incessantly from one of the docked boats, but it didn't ruin the experience.

Food-wise, the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl was the standout: rich, piping hot, and full of flavor. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for classic coastal comfort food with unbeatable harbor views in Eureka.“

“The service and food were both excellent this evening! I was especially looking forward to a good ribeye steak, unfortunately due to a shipment mixup there were no ribeye. However, they upgraded my dinner to a mouth-watering filet at no charge. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! We also got the rack of lamb and the table-side ceaser salad. Everything was excellent, and I can't wait to come here again!“
