“Truly a gem in the East Bay. It’s tucked away and easy to drive past (like I did the first time I went). They have a large variety on the menu ranging from pasta, to burgers, to Mexican food. I had the Jambalaya Cajun Pasta and my friend had Al Pastor tacos. The tacos were flavorful, and the pasta was very good and filling. Definitely recommend if you have a picky family and don’t want to make multiple stops for dinner.“

“I bought 12-piece mixed chicken and they were very juicy and flavorful even till the next day after they were microwaved. Each piece was much bigger than what I would get from KFC or Popeye. The owner was very friendly. The store atmosphere was what you typically would experience at any fast food restaurant but the food was unexpectedly delicious.“

“JJ’s Fish & Chicken It’s the fish for me, so fresh hot and good everything else was trash. Everyone can’t cook NOL style, the gumbo, the red beans, the jambalaya the macaroni salad and the chicken 🐓 was straight trash. Chicken still had long hairs all over the wings. That’s all 😡😡😡🤣😂 The pictures hanging with the food on them make you think the food is so good. I only recommend the cat fish. This one is located on International Blvd bka East 14th Street Oakland California.“

“We waited to try this place after the crowds slowed down. Our food had great flavor and was definitely different than other chicken spots. My only mild complaints were when the coke went out. Instead of changing the syrup they told us to pick something else. I also wanted to change my cheese to American and not add an extra slice but they charged me 50 cent more. That did not make sense but the lady stated that was policy. We will be back though.“

I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. “Came here on a Wednesday for their 98 cent wings. Note that you have to buy in multiples of 10, even though the sign says 10 pieces minimum. The people working here were very nice, but the food was a bit disappointing. The wings were covered in oil, which really distracted from any flavor they had. I probably wouldn't come back here.“
