“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

A regular size is good for two people. There's plenty of tables, although they're shared with the other restaurant in the dining area. It's located inside the grocery store.“

“This is a good choice when you want shave ice dessert the flavors are natural I’m allergic to a lot of colors and they don’t add any additives so if you were sensitive as I am, I has not reacted to anything that I have order there, which is very common with this desert. they had lots of colors this place doesn’t.“

I wanted to try the Nutella and green tea macroons however they were sold out. I settled for the fruity pebble and I loved it.“

“My friends and I recieved great service! The grilled eel bowl is great, buttery eel with japanese pepper and rice. I had a katsu special with chicken breast, egg and onion broth. So flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. My friend had the best chicken teriyaki bowl ever. Overall, I love this restaurant! This will definitely become a staple for me.“

“If you’re looking for a delicious matcha yuzu lemonade you have to try theirs. It’s not on the menu so you have to ask the baristas if they can make it. Whenever I go to coffee shops that have yuzu lemonade I always ask if they can add matcha to it. Anko’s is the best!!! Their matcha actually blends with the lemonade. It doesn’t taste weird and gritty. I would also absolutely recommend their taiyaki is also really nice and crispy and not too sweet!“

Just when I was running out of soft serve I found more at the bottom lolSundae was perfect amount of chocolate and whipped cream. “The restaurant on the third floor that used to have mariachi shows is boarded up and closed. They been closed since the Covid shutdown. Everything else is open. There is still plenty of food and small booths selling leather goods, makeup, piñatas, traditional Mexican dresses and shirts, and lots more.“

“This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. “Brought my daughter after jujitsu class... we were ordering and i saw the new reopens drinks and suggested she try one of them... she said she wanted to stick with her original order of a mango smoothie with no boba and mango jelly and popping boba... before we even paid the drink was prepared... one thing I noticed was all the employees were smiling... my daughter left her phone on the counter and we walked over to the bakery next door... as we were walking out Roxy came and brought us the phone.... thank you for a great experience and saving us a headache.“

Had I believed the first posted comment for this place, I would had missed the best sandwich and natural fruit juice I had ever had. I would recommend Ms. Lucy Rivera to give this place a second chance now that it is being managed by the new owners. I am positively sure she would want to get rid of the negative comment she made on this place and would want to recommend it to all her friends and family. Give it a try, you are going to love it!! “Boba bunny has to be one of the top cafe shops I’ve been to! The owner is also one of the sweetest owners you’ll ever meet! The drinks were also amazing. I tried the banana matcha along with a mango matcha and both were so amazing! The mango matcha has delicious sticky rice at the bottom (that is cooked fresh daily) and the banana matcha has vanilla cookies at the top with banana at the bottom! 10/10 would recommend those drinks :) if you’re looking for a place where the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is great then boba bunny is definitely the place you need to try!“
