Bar Nine is a coffee lover's paradise with amazing lattes and espresso beans. This coffee shop is tucked away off the main streets, making it a hidden gem for true coffee lovers and locals. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, perfect for working in peace and quiet. Customers can enjoy a latte with Macadamia Nut milk or try the iced vanilla matcha latte in a super aesthetic setting with free WiFi and bathrooms. While the customer service has changed, the quality of coffee remains top-notch, with a focus on stronger options like cappuccino and cortado. The baristas are full of positive energy, genuinely loving what they do, and are happy to walk customers through the coffee-making process.
Bar Nine has moved towards a minimalist approach, specializing in batch brewed espressos. They source the best beans and roast them in-house using a patented oxygen-free process, ensuring a concentrated and flavorful espresso. The crew is super friendly and knowledgeable about the LA coffee scene, creating a welcoming environment for laptop warriors to work while sipping on incredible caffeinated drinks. The ambiance blends modern co-working space vibes with the comforting feel of a European coffee shop. Although parking can be a hassle, the experience at Bar Nine makes it worth staying long. Despite some recent changes, Bar Nine remains one of the best secrets on the west side for a delicious cup of coffee and a great atmosphere.
