We went there in June and we were well taken care of. The staff all wore masks and gloves and were respectful of social distancing. The food was delicious and it was actually only our second time out since Covid-19 started back in March.
This was the first restaurant that I wanted to go to when the closings were lifted. We were warmly greeted by the familiar staff and shown to a wonderful patio table. My favorite orders are the Croque Madame and the brussel sprouts appetizer. They were delicious as always! Love their coffee also. So happy that they were able to stay open during these tough times. I am back and will bring my friends and family here to the best family- owned and run restaurant in L.A.
I went the last week they were open (last week of July). They make (made) the best croissants in Los Angeles. Their almond croissants are huge and amazing to eat if you want sweet, the regular are perfection. Too bad the outdoor seating is so small compared to Father's Office. I feel so bad for the owners, they had a great place and my feeling is Covid-19 and a landlord not working with them made them close.
