Standouts on the menu include the best brown rice sushi, crispy rice plates, and nigiri, which feature fish so fresh that they don't overload the nigiri with rice. Complement a meal with a steaming bowl of miso soup and satisfying green tea, which is refilled promptly by attentive service. The intimate setting, with only about six seats, allows for direct interaction with Chef Thomas and Sophia, creating a unique and personal dining experience. Ideal for date night or a special occasion, Shikibu is a hidden gem that will be missed as it prepares to move to Vegas. Although the space is small and lacks significant ambiance, the quality of the fish and flavors make it worth a visit. Street parking is available.
