“I’m in LA visiting family and my mother and I stopped in here on a whim. And it’s absolutely beautiful. The decor, the ambience, the food, the service, everything is 10/10. Our waitress Caroline was an absolute doll. The hashbrowns and chicken sausage was amazing. My tequila sunrise was delicious. The spot is a gem !“

“Great fast food to go or eat there that’s really healthy and tasty. If I lived around one (I was visiting) I’d buy a few meals a month or more for when I’m in a hurry, as I always eat only heathy food. The meals are pre-made and in plastic containers that they nuke for you in a microwave oven. If take them home and heat in the oven. I’m not sure about every detail, hopefully organic, as I was in a hurry to get to a concert. Skip the superfood drinks, my meal was $10 & the drink was $6. Otherwise really reasonable. Recommended“

“If you’re craving authentic Spanish cuisine on the West Coast, Teleferic Barcelona is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in the heart of Brentwood , this vibrant restaurant offers one of the most immersive Spanish dining experiences I’ve had outside of Spain itself.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere transports you. Think warm, lively, and welcoming, with attentive servers who make the entire experience feel like you’re dining with friends. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the food.

The tapas are nothing short of exceptional. Each dish bursts with depth, flavor, and authenticity. Whether it’s their patatas bravas, delicious tapas, or seafood-forward options, every bite feels carefully crafted and full of character.

And then there’s the cocktail menu! Specifically , the sangria flight. This tasting experience is a 10/10. With a variety of bold and refreshing flavors, it’s the perfect way to elevate your night out and find your favorite blend.

My tip? Bring a group of 3 or more. The menu is designed to be shared, and the more people you bring, the more dishes you get to try. Trust me, you’ll want to sample as much as possible.

Whether you’re a Spanish food enthusiast or just looking for your next great culinary adventure, Teleferic Barcelona is well worth the visit.“

“We stopped at the Farmers Market on a Viator Tour for lunch. I chose Nonna’s Empanadas (my husband another restaurant) and it did not disappoint! We shared food and both agreed that his was good but Nonnas was better! You can get two empanadas and a drink for $12.95. I tried the beef and the ham and cheese. Both were listed as best sellers. I preferred the ham and cheese over the beef, not a huge fan of olives in the beef but it was still good. The ham and cheese was absolutely delicious!! Both were very fresh, full of filling and extremely hot. We liked it so much we came back another day on our trip just to eat here again. This time my husband chose to eat here too. He got the Ham and cheese again but I tried the Philly cheesesteak and the margherita and we split a Nutella for dessert. Again, all delicious! Very full and so hot you could hardly eat them! I wished I lived closed so I could eat here regularly.“

Somni

Somni American
9045 Nemo St, West Hollywood - 4.27 miles

“I have visited every three star Michelin restaurant in the US and most of them in the world. I am a huge fan of culinary excellence and I can say that Somni delivers one of the most technically inventive and flawless meals I've ever had. Easily LA's best showing both in terms of the space itself and service as well. No detail is spared to impress the dinner and create a memorable experience. If I had any criticism it would be that of the twenty plus courses presented, the story was a rather difficult one to follow along with at times, shifting from such extremes as truffles to strawberries at points. A similar restaurant like Dialogue, let's say, offer a more fluid presentation. Also I felt dessert was not quite on the same level as the entree courses. That all said, I am grading to a ridiculously high standard here, one upon which I am sure the chefs strive to meet, hence the five star review. I found the highlights of this dining endeavor to be the incredible range of creative techniques that were showcased and the interactive methods of presentation throughout. It was truly engaging start to finish. I will be back.“

“We’ve been coming to Amalia for years, live the vibe the food and the staff is amazing! You will get that Traditional Guatemalan Hospitality here.

Only thing that was depressing was that we are used to this place being beyond packed that you would normally get a wait time, but this past weekend to our shock, was completely empty.

Please do not let amazing places like this disappear let’s do our part to support small businesses and not be afraid.“
