Was excited to see egg waffles offered but unfortunately if you know what the authentic ones from Hong Kong taste like, these are not it. Nevertheless, they dont taste bad, they just don't have that crispy outer shell with a chewy inside that egg waffles are known for. Price is $6.99 for regular, $7.25-7.99 for ones with filling (ube, matcha, chocolate) so it's not cheap but about the same price as other places selling it. Located along the sides of Cupertino Fringe, Jell & Chill is an innocuous bing fen shop that offers a good variety for an acceptable price. I visited on a weekend after lunch, and the shop was empty except for a single staff member and two sitting patrons. Ordering went smoothly, and prep took a few minutes. Split 2 desserts with 2 other people on a hot day this past summer! Very fruity and refreshing, not too sweet, and was a nice light dessert after a large meal. The toppings were an enjoyable addition and the presentation was very pleasing.It was pretty quiet when we went- you order through a kiosk then pick up the food at the counter. Lots of seating/tables inside to enjoy your food.A little pricy for the size/quantity but worth a try!
