El Taconazo Reviews
The Al pastor super burrito was very disappointing. No apparent sour cream or Guacamole, very little meat, and the whole thing was very bland (and I don’t generally like food too spicy). Kept putting salsa and salt on it to get some flavor.
One of the best quesabirria tacos outside of Mexico, no joke. If you haven't tried the quesabirria tacos from El
Taconazo located in Daly CIty then you're seriously missing out. These tacos are next level. They are juicy,
savory, cheesy, and full of flavor. I’ve been to Mexico and tried the street tacos and the ones in El Taconazo taste

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants, definitely a top 3 favorite. The food is incredibly tasty. I always get the machaca, and the birria is the best birria I’ve ever tasted. El Taconazo offers a great atmosphere with new plates and wooden accents. The salsa is hot, and the burrito is a must-try. They have decent WiFi, $2 coffee, and a super nice bathroom. Vegetarian options include the Veggie burrito. The Caldo de Camarón is flavorful and comforting, with fresh shrimp and veggies. The restaurant is known for its quesabirria tacos, which are considered one of the best outside of Mexico. These tacos are juicy, savory, cheesy, and full of flavor, with tender meat, crispy yet soft tortillas, and flavorful consome. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, with fast service and good prices. The friendly owner and her daughter provide excellent service, making it a perfect spot for families and first-time visitors to SF. Overall, El Taconazo is highly recommended for its tasty food, especially the birria and machaca, and its cozy, chill environment.
