One of my favorite bakeries in the bay. Super reasonably priced but not a particularly large selection. Pastries being individually wrapped was a nice touch and helps keep over multiple days.
The sesame seed balls are thick and not much sweet red bean paste, but the taste is acceptable. The mango pudding is very sweet but the coconut pudding has the right amount of sugar…

Egg Custard Tarts (Dan Tat) are really good. The crust is flakey and the custard is smooth and has structure. Not too sweet is the best compliment! You can eat 100 of these and not get tired of them. They have a matcha variation that is very impressive. There are floral notes of the tea and it's a bit sweeter for the sweet tooth's out there. The prices are a bit higher, but I would say it's justified with the quality of a a family owned business that doesn't get much foot traffic...read full review
