“One cherished annual Christmas tradition that will be deeply missed by many In North County San Diego Is the Captain Keno's yearly Christmas Dinner. This year will be the last year. For over 50 years now, Gerry has also been famous for his great home made food, also for being kind to the underprivileged and homeless, hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, which draw 500 to 600 guests every year. It’s always been free to.anyone who can’t afford it or just a $3.00 voluntary contribution. Owner Gerry explains proudly. “I get 15 to 20 volunteers that come to help every year, including the churches.” Gerry’s explains; “Nobody’s ever turned down for a meal here, even if they’re broke❣️“God bless you, Saint Gerry!” We will not likely meet your like anywhere again!😔“

“My husband, daughter, and I stopped by for dinner after a long day. At first, it was a little hard to identify if this was a bar or restaurant, but Selena saw us looking lost and brought us in. Selena was great! The service was terrific, the conversation was enjoyable, and the food was amazing. This bar/restaurant is a unique and fun concept. We will definitely be back.“

“Such a good vibe here, chill and cool bar tenders. Drinks come in as fast as they go down lol they have live bands play here at certain days of the week, a couple of pool tables to play with friends and fam. The food is classic grill fare done exceptionally well. “Convenient location, helpful staff. Great spot to grab a drink and some food. Lots of TVs for enjoying a game. Food is really good. Lots of indoor seating, a bar area, and some outdoor seating as well.
Lots of parking, but the lot can get busy. Street parking available.
Parking: Depends on the time of day. There is always parking, but sometimes its harder to find parking in the evenings.
