“The manager of this restaurant, Erika, should be training every manager. It was my birthday, and I was sad. He went to the counter and told Erika about this and asked if she would sing to make his grandma feel special. This is not a normal policy. Well that is exactly she did in the middle of a busy day. They brought me a cake and sang, and I felt very special, and my grandson was oh so proud. My 8yr. old grandson loves when we go inside your nice clean restaurant and have dinner, it is always a special time for us, and we talk. You know there are some qualities you just can't pay a person to have and although Erika runs a very tight ship, she has those qualities above and beyond when it comes to customer service. “First the visual appearance and the actual taste of the New Whopper has vastly improved...very close to the actual picture...now that's refreshing. I visited the Desert Hot Springs location...I've always preferred Burger King over McDonald's.. And now after eating the New and Improved Whopper I'll go more often. Also the fries were hot crisp and fresh and my coke was right up there with Mcdonals. The crew was great. My order was taking promptly and delivered fast through the drive-thru. My bag had ketchup napkins I requested no ice in my Coke which was honored. The customer rep was friendly and acted like he wanted to be there. 5 STARS *****“

We really liked the atmosphere at Heyday. The place is cute, stylish, and has a welcoming vibe. The staff immediately seated us at a nice table and brought us tap water while we looked through the menu. A small gesture, but definitely worth mentioning!

The menu is fairly limited, but that's perfectly fine for a burger restaurant. One thing that really impressed us was when we asked about the available sauces. Instead of simply listing them, our server brought us four different sauces to try! We thought that was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The homemade ranch sauce was especially delicious!

Overall, we enjoyed the burgers and thought they were reasonably priced. However, the fries were a different story. They were perfectly good, standard fries, but at almost $8 per portion, we found them far too expensive. In our opinion, the price simply doesn't justify what you get.

Conclusion: A great burger spot with a cute atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty burgers. Just be aware that the fries are overpriced. Nevertheless, we would still recommend Heyday if you're looking for a good burger in Palm Springs!“

“Been here couple times & they have good burgers & potato salad - it says it’s a former Grayhound Bus station so it’s a bit quirky but worth a visit. I don’t know why they insist on posting more than 40 menus on the website from the last 17 years (other than comparison to see inflation lol) wish they highlighted the CURRENT menu a bit more prominently instead of searching thru page after page of history“

“I stopped in to grab some lunch and noticed they had one of my favorite dishes on their menu. Camarones Ala Diabla, so I thought I'd give it a try since everything I've ever ordered from this place has always been delicious. Well I was not disappointed, there were plenty of shrimp in a spicy red sauce, served with rice, beans and tortillas. The sauce was very tasty without overwhelming me. Definitely going back for this dish and so much more!“

“I really enjoyed my experience, The burger tasted incredibly fresh. The toppings were crisp and fresh, which added a great crunch and made the burger even more enjoyable.

The staff was efficient, friendly, and the customer service was on point. My order was handled quickly without feeling rushed, and everything came out as expected.

My only complaint is something pretty simple: napkins should automatically be included with every order. Having to ask for napkins is a small inconvenience, especially when you're eating a juicy burger and fries. They should be part of the basic service without customers having to request them.

Been coming here since I was a child and despite changing ownership, they have remained consistent over the decades. One of the last few places up here that hasn’t sold out to the tourists. Don’t come here expecting your fancy gentrifier lavender frilly coffee. Proper Diner with very reasonable prices. Love the new Hispanic influences on the food and the homemade salsa makes a wonderful addition to lots of the American classics !!

“When you walk in it seems like a fast food joint, but the food is more like a diner cafe and prepared fresh (though fast!) It was delicious. The French fries were hot right out of the fry basket. And perhaps the best part is the people. Everyone working there is super nice! Great service.“
