“Went here for a last min dinner choice. We had to sit in the bar area. But it worked out well. Our wait staff was awesome and helpful. My husband's filet mignon was delicious. Especially paired with all the toppings it had. The outdoor seating looked nice, but it was too hot out to enjoy for us.“

“My husband and I ate here on a whim tonight and it ended up being the best Italian food we’ve had since we visited Italy last year. We ordered the bruschetta, linguine with homemade pesto and cream sauce, tagliatelle al ragu, and the dessert of the day, which was a Sicillian cake. Everything was perfect. The pasta was slightly al dente and not soaked in sauce while still being very flavorful (exactly how it’s served in Italy) and the cake was the best cake either of us have had in our lives. The chef (and owner? Teresa) came to check on us to see how everything tasted. Our server was great, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and hospitable. We loved our entire experience here. Our only regret is that we can’t take them and the whole restaurant back with us to Texas. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.“

“Okay, I’m from NY and they get a 5 Star all the way around. My family ordered off the menu and I ordered a custom sandwich. The staff was professional and extremely friendly . They made suggestions on bread choices and explained the differences. If in Palm Springs, you will must stop in and eat. You will thoroughly enjoy a true great deli sandwich. They have other foods and deserts but we went for the true subs. Sorry no photos, we were hungry. My apologies“

“For the past 6 years I have been a frequent visitor of Romano's Pizza take-out. The previous owners were fair, honest and really cared about their clientele. At some point I guess they sold the business. The only way I was aware of this exchange of ownership was in the cost of my pie. My large pepperoni with extra cheese was now $15.00 dollars. There is a $2.50 charge for the extra cheese. This new price raise for the pizza in my opinion, is a big mistake because compared to Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesars they are going to lose customer base because nothing differentiates their pizza from the competition. The cheese, sauce and crust are standard. For me in the past it was about price and convenience that made Romano’s a standout. They have raised their prices above what would be considered normal to account for inflation, cost of ingredients, and sales help. Perhaps they are trying to pay off the loan for the restaurant in a record 12 months (LOL). I believe that once you lose that base, you have lost it for good. What a shame. Patience seems to be the secret ingredient to a successful business. (They) may want to rethink their strategy only time will tell.“

“Mostly, we sit at the bar and enjoy their pizza, unless we're with a group of friends (which they'll happily accommodate). The food is great, the staff is lovely and the garden setting is a delight.
