About Wabi Sabi Ramen Sushi Bar and Grill

Wabi Sabi Ramen Sushi Bar and Grill is a restaurant that has not been opened very long. The meals are tasty and the right size. The Ramen bowls are fantastic, with rich and flavorful broth. The creamy miso pork or chicken ramen is recommended, and the chicken miso ramen dish is enjoyable. The noodles are perfectly thick and chewy, packed with flavor in every bite. The chashu is the best in LA. The sushi is also amazing, especially the golden dragon roll, the rangoon roll, and the heart attack roll (contains jalapeno). The Centipede roll has a little spicy kick, and the California roll is the best in a long time. The Teriyaki chicken plate is tasty and fresh. The tempura roll is fresh, flavorful, and fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The building is nestled in a nice area near a school. There is a very small bar area that you get served from at your table. The staff is so so, but the food makes up for it. The service was friendly and attentive. It is addictively delicious and worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went to Wabi Sabi with a friend on a weekday night, and honestly, the plaza felt really quiet and almost deserted. From the outside, it was also hard to tell if the restaurant was even open because the inside looked so dark.

I’ll admit, I almost suggested leaving after seeing some less-than-great reviews on Yelp. But since my friend picked the restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Turns out, we were actually the only customers there that night!

We ordered:

Ramen was surprisingly delicious, broth is rich and flavorful, and they have the best chashu I've ever had in LA. It's too good I didn't even remember to take photos until I finished half of it, might looks messy but taste really good. Absolutely deserves a higher rating.
We split the tonkotsu ramen and a small bottle of sake. It was around 6pm, so it was quiet. Good service, and the food was good.
