50 Best Donuts near East Los Angeles

“I've been coming here for a while for a few specific things:

-Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it's consistently good. Never had a bad one from here. At 5$ it's a pretty good deal.

-Ham & Cheese Croissant is always solid too whether it's cold or warmed up. Again, never had a bad one from here. I believe it's about 4/4.50$.

-Their filled donuts (Bavarian & Raspberry) are so good too! $1.75 each if I recall correctly.

Service is always great too, I don't know the dudes name (I catch him working mornings), but he's always friendly and efficient at getting your order ready even when he's got a few people in the shop.“

“Their donuts are freaking amazing. I bought it at 11am on Sunday morning (No Doubt or Maroon 5?), kept it in the box until Monday morning, in which we ate it at 7:30am. It was still so yummy as if we just bought it. The Old Fashion was still crispy. The glazed donut wasn't as glazey but still yummy. Chocolate frosting was definitely chocolatey.

Get your donuts here guys. I drove from Tarzana to Glendale for these donuts. Worth it.“

I was reluctant to get into the place due to the outside appearance, but the donuts and cakes they make are delicious, and like I said the dough is so tender and soft... Family running the place is very nice and there are a few tables if you're gonna eat inside. I've not had their other menu items, just old fashion donuts, sugar and regular coffee.

On our way home from some degeneracy and I got a jalapeno ham cheese croissant and some donuts. It was hot and fresh out the kitchen and straight into my mouth I could barely contain myself on the drive home.

Now it's nothing special and but given the context this was the best thing to end that night (morning?) with.

“My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Normandie for five days recently. We’re not normally donut people but we got coffee and donuts most mornings at Donut King across the street. I liked that their donuts and coffee were very fresh and ready at 6 am and the staff are super friendly. Our favorite donut was the raised twist donut with nut sprinkles!“

The service is excellent. All the service workers have great vibes and just great customer service. The atmosphere is a plain old school donut shop. Although the tv is always on and loud but that's ok. I dined in. I ordered an espresso and expected a shot, in which i wanted, and i got a really strong cut of what it seemed to look like 8 espressos. lol 😂
i took a few sips and it was enough.

The donuts tasted like they used fresh oil to fry them everyday, unlike some other donut shop that taste like they used old stale oil. Uncle Joes donuts tastes fresh and the oil tasted fresh. Don't know how to explain it, but using fresh oil is important. So i'm definitely going back.

I order three donuts and an espresso for about $10, sweet deal.

“Delicious - simple and straight to the point classic donuts. We got the buttermilk, glazed twist, and apple fritter. Hit the spot. Iced coffee is a delicious sugar bomb - sweet tooth is needed. We will be back to try the breakfast sandwiches and thai iced tea.“

“My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

It's super clean, the menu is large, and there are always multiple people on shift.

This shop does get busy but I've never felt ignored by the staff.

“This is a nice little donut shop near my job, it’s come in klutch when it comes to getting a snack. The place has 4 tables, restroom for customers but the times I’ve gone it says out of order. The ladies there are very nice, sometimes it gets busy in the mornings but you can see they pull through it quick. I’ve gotten their breakfast and lunch sandwiches, both have been delicious. They have different types of bread for the sandwiches, they have croissants, bagels, sandwich bread (white or wheat) and sub bread. You can add avocado and bacon to these for an extra charge. They also offer drinks like arizonas, monster, aloe Vera drinks, Starbucks glass coffee, nesquick chocolate, and water. The only reason that I’d put 4 stars is I once got a sandwich with the avocado mostly brown.“
