“Ruby is the best example of management that I have seen. She is so accommodating and respectful to her staff and her customers. She knows how to show customer service, as well as take responsibility for the mistakes that may occur. She knows how to keep her customers coming back to this location. Thank you Ruby!! “Went to a cute little gem in LA for coffee. Didn’t see any parking lots but got lucky and found parking on the street. Inside, there was an area where they sold local artist’s art and gems. There was also a courtyard where you can sit and enjoy their coffee. I got a lavender honey latte and it was good but it was a little too sweet for my taste. (I forgot to take a picture)“
“I ordered the Milpa Chicken bowl ?. It was good. It cost around $11.00. I enjoyed it. I also liked the green sauce better than the red sauce. I was really satisfied with the peach citrus honey tea. It cost $4.00. My tongue always feels refreshed when I drink a tasty iced tea like the peach citrus honey tea. The drink was perfect ?. I appreciate ? the good service here. The only downside is that you have to look for parking in the street and maybe pay for parking.“
“The pizzas have a very good flavor, they are also crispy, and the people who work here are very friendly. Today I stopped by for a pizza and they treated me very well after not coming for a long time, and it is very different, the establishment is very clean, very good service.“
“A place to know in Los Feliz. Warm with its decoration and the team in place, its varied menu and containing Vegan and Gluten-Free options. I tried the Moroccan dish of lentils with fig and date cream, a real treat. You can work on site, wifi is available for free. Pastries are also offered and are homemade. This will definitely be my next experience! I recommend.“
“I stumbled upon Mendocino Farms, and it was a delightful surprise. The ambiance is cozy with a touch of sophistication, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a special occasion. The service here is exceptional. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the different sandwich options and even suggested a unique combination that turned out to be a new favorite. Now, onto the food. The sandwiches here are a true culinary adventure. Each bite is a burst of flavor, and the attention to detail in crafting these masterpieces is evident. It's clear that they take pride in serving top-quality sandwiches. If you're a sandwich enthusiast or someone looking for a great meal in a charming setting with excellent service, you won't be disappointed here. This place exceeds expectations on all fronts – ambiance, service, and food quality.“
“I had some guests in LA and took them to dinner at The Morrison restaurant in Atwater, Los Angeles. I wanted to show them a nice LA restaurant. The menu was a hit and everyone in my group was able to find something to their taste. We were seated promptly in a big comfortable booth. The waiter was incredibly fast and knowledgeable about their offerings. He gave all of us advice on dishes that we might like. He explained in detail about the food and also the beverages.Everyone got some delicious food and we also got to experience a variety of wonderful beers from the bar. We really enjoyed our dishes, our beers, the atmosphere and the service. We all got exactly what we wanted and we had a great experience. I am so glad that I took everyone to the Morrison. They now know a terrific restaurant in Los Angeles that offers a great selection of food and drinks. It’s a very cool place and I highly recommend it.“
“A small restaurant you would miss if you didn't look twice. Mila's is a lowkey gem of this wonderful city of Glendale. Firstly greeted as we walked in and my group and I already knew it was going to be a good experience. The cashier David was especially nice when choosing menu items as well. We ended up getting the BBQ Chicken and Smoked Bacon as well as some wings. The pizza is a New York style with the thin and crispy crust, they have perfected this style to the T. Both pizzas came out delicious and our group ended up finishing the whole thing. The wings also had a crispy outer layer and paired with the sauce. Loved everything here and will keep them in mind anytime Pizza is a craving of mine.“
“This place is like a wayyyyy better Panera with delicious sandwiches and salads. Also a lot of veggie options and customization in the app. This will become a fairly regular place for us after recent visits. The tofu banh mi is awesome and the salads have so much great tasting and healthy stuff in them. The Japanese chili dressing should be bottled! Definitely try this spot out.“
“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“
“This place is really good. Service was great. I got the chicken bowl this time. Rice has good flavor, the chicken was cooked perfectly soft, tender and full of flavor veggies are fresh and not over cooked. Their pomegranate sauce and garlic sauce go perfectly well with the bowl.“
“Food - The best in Korea Town. When I arrived, there were three customers sitting at tables, and five to six were standing, waiting for to-go orders. This place, despite its name, is not a dine-in specialty restaurant but rather a take-out specialty. There were no servers and they were too busy to pack to-go orders.Parking: Finding a street parking spot is incredibly hard, especially on Fridays.“
“Best dang pizza ever!!! I ordered a build your own pizza...I was not expecting it to be as big, as beautiful and as delicious as it is!!! Look at this pizza!!! ??? Even my husband loves it!! And he is HARD to please with his pizza!! ?Twice in a row!!! The second pizza is just a s delicious as the first!!! No trouble finding us. Delivery was in time...pizza was hot!!! Look how yummy!!! ????“
“I applaud Le Coupé's choice to use superiorly flavorful and juicy thigh meat. I've never seen the method that Le Coupé uses to spread out and fry bone-in thigh, allowing for rather uniform thickness and just-right doneness. Never mind all the other lazy boneless breast "tenders" slingers in town. The chicken is indeed crispy and juicy, although a bit heavy-handed sweet with the honey glazing. I couldn't detect any spice in the chili honey, and I wished it was more savory. Tiny loaf of cornbread had a nice crust and flavor, and it came with excellent butter.“
“The pizza was so good! Extra thin crispy crust, a mild tomato sauce, and delicious mozzarella. We got the four meat, and it was so savory and delicious. Highly recommend! For two moderately hungry people, one pizza is the perfect size to share.“
“This is one of my favorite pizza places now. The photo gallery in their website totally does the pizza justice. It is as good as it photographs! I never had Detroit-style pizza. I don't take part in the Great Pizza Debate with regional styles vying for Best Pizza Ever. Pizza is either good or it's average. The flavors and textures between cheese, crust and sauce are either balanced and each component delicious, or the magic just doesn't happen. Whenever I try thick, rectangular pizza slices I'm always disappointed in either sauce, cheese, or crust. I always hoped that pizza would taste like these slices. This pizza is the paradigm of what a thick square slice of pizza should be-- a sauce that is deliciously balanced between sweet, tangy, and savory-- the perfect intermediary between cheese and carbs. Speaking of carbs, a nice thick crust, just doughy enough to feel your teeth sink into, but with the edges perfectly carmelized to support the slice as it makes its way to your pizza pie-hole. The cheese was-- well, cheese, but cheese that goes all the way to the edge of the crust, caramelized to a deep golden brown against the pie pan. On this maiden visit, we tried both the Margherita and the Biggio. The Biggio is their version of a meat lover's pizza-- pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, and bacon. The ham and bacon, however, lent a smoky flavor -- almost too barbecue-ish -- for a non-bbq pizza. I know this is Detroit pizza but it was almost a little too un-Italian to us. The Margherita pizza, on the other hand, was crave-worthy. The cheese, sauce, and crust converged into a balance of flavor -- sweet, savory, and tangy, as well as texture -- doughy, crispy, the cheesy stretchiness, the caramelized edges.... I thought this slice was pizza, pure and simple, delicious in its simplicity. Even the tomato slices seemed to be cut the right thickness. I got ours to-go and tried calling ahead-- several times. No go, so I had to order when I got there. The pizzaria (suite #203) lives on the second floor of a two story mini-mall, overlooking the street-side dining lanes on Colorado. The parking lot is also on the second floor which is convenient, the entrance of which is on Mentor, just south of Colorado. Our order took 20 minutes to prepare-- well worth the wait. We also ordered a Caesar salad. Their Caesar was a mix of iceberg and romaine and was fine. Just know that their Caesar salads are tossed-- a dealbreaker for some if you're not into lifeless salads. Just remember this if you're ordering to-go and have to drive a ways before digging in. There is no soda fountain in the restaurant. Beverages are canned. After trying their pizza I appreciate this. I also liked how their menu is simple-- there are just two salads offered and most importantly their pizza, but really, their pizza is all you'll really need. Detroit or otherwise, it's just really good pizza.“
“We were surprised just how good the food and the service was here!! The hummus was some of the best we've ever had and every single dish was fresh and flavorful. Our wait staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back here again!!“
“All foods I have tried here are very fresh, and people are always so welcoming. I especially like the strawberry matcha latte, squeezed orange juice, croissant ham sandwich, tuna kimbap, and the chicken salad. The turkey sandwich is great, too, as it has many fresh cut veggies inside, but I would recommend croissant sandwich over it as I just personally like the bread part being croissant better. There are seats inside the cafe, and although I have not eaten inside, it rather looked spacious.“
“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“
“Absolutely amazing experience. Got to meet John (one of the owners) but that’s not why I like this place. The food is authentic. Reminds me of my Nonn-‘s cooking. Yes I am of American Italian descent. Great to go selection. Everything looks beautiful!Minestrone soup (which can be such a tasteless soup made by so many) is totally flavorful full of beautiful vegetables!! Sandwich I had the Italian sub was on point and you’re talking to a New Yorker !Thrilled to have found this awesome deli/eatery. By the way it’s super clean. Well organized in the staff is delightful and very helpful.Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten-free options which is really nice. They actually care and they stop and they listen.Kid-friendliness: Great patio in the back for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Great spot for handicap with wheelchair needs“
“The menu has everything you could want from a diner. Ordered the pancakes with bananas, chocolate chips, and walnuts - so well made! The wait looks intimidating when you see the line out the door but the staff are efficient at getting people seated. Definitely will be going back.“
“Was excited to see that the kebab shop was opening in Atwater village! Checked it out for lunch today and enjoyed it. We're always looking for a delicious/quick food spot on Sundays as I attend a church in the nearby area, so the kebab shop will definitely be part of our regular rotation!“
“I've been to Skaf's a couple of times now. As many reviewers note, the cheese roll is a must get if you love and respect yourself and your happiness. Queso fresco and feta fried in the crispiest wrapper is a match made in heaven.Grape leaves are also a wonderful appetizer, especially if you're like me and could accidentally put away 12 of this if not paying attention.I often find falafel to be disappointing in restaurants and much better homemade, but Skaf's falafel would give even the best homemade falafel a run for its money. The texture is exactly how it should be - crisp, crunchy exterior with a soft (but not gummy) interior. The falafel is also jam packed with flavor and surrounded by insanely well executed tabbouleh (perfectly seasoned), cabbage salad, hummus, and babaganouj. Their wraps are solid as well, but the veggie combo plate is where it's at!Lebanese coffee on the side on a rainy day at Skaf's. Kindest servers as well“
“Wanda is a wonderful owner and the food she serves is incredibly. To have this quality food option at such generous portions in this neighborhood is an absolute bliss. I got the hummus sammy - the size of an infant, mind you! Loved the flavors - it's what I would want all of my patients to eat; light, heathy, filling, delicious, sustainable.“
“Excellent place if you like to eat Mexican food...all the dishes here I was fascinated and I say tried because I am on vacation from Houston Texas and since I found this place on Google I have not stopped coming until I return...thank you very “
“My usual, go-to sandwich shop was closed, so when I googled for a sandwich shop this place popped up. I had no idea this place was here, but pleasantly surprised. The bread is fresh and soft. I got a small baked real Italian and large chicken salad for my hubby. The Italian was delicious with lots of meat. Hubby said he liked the chicken salad. Portions are good and filling. I will definitely be coming back to try other sandwiches ?“
“I definitely recommend making a pitstop here when that pizza craving hits. Coming from the East Coast, I have high pizza standards, and the Big Kahuna with honey drizzle blew me away. And to top it off, the service was exceptional. Big thanks to the team!“
“One of the most well seasoned wings and beef. Ordered #11 and #7 , rice was fresh and so was everything else. 25 minute wait but thats what happened when food is made fresh on the spot. First time here and wont be the last. Cash only, what we did is ordered on door dash while there and let the owner know.“
“Went here last night an hour before closing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and patient while taking our order. We had the Greek salad and the Bianca Pizza, it was SO GOOD. (The crust was amazing).Great atmosphere, great food and EXCELLENT service at the Stone Oven. The team took great care of us. We'll definitely be back!“
“I work in the area, and I get tired of the monotony of the same old, same old. As soon as I step up to the counter at Slicers I feel like I just stepped into Brooklyn's streets and I am taken back into my days living in Bay Ridge, walking from Sunset Park to Dyker heights, you will find some of the best delis in America. Slicers THANK YOU for bringing that same experience here on the West Coast... you make me miss Brooklyn every time I visit!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“Fave spot in LA and order here at least 2-3x a week. Best, most creamiest hummus I’ve had in my life. Rice is cooked to perfection every time. Both their salads are delicious and refreshing, Tabouleh Oaxaca Salad is a must try. Taco plate with chicken and cauliflower is my go-to. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor. Prices are affordable/reasonable and portions are perfect. Owners are super friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care and passion into their food.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly.Parking: Has its own parking lot. About 7 spaces.“
“We came downtown to pick up some flowers and were leaving the parking structure next door, saw this place and decided to gove it a try. I'm so glad we did because their rotisserie chicken is on point! The chicken was moist and delicious, and the skin was the perfect level of crispness. Great flavor, great portion, and the fries were awesome! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with light seasoning, which was delicious.Maria took great Michelle's. She was friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome the moment she saw us. She recommended trying the sandwich next time, so that must be great too! They also serve beers and have good micheladas, which was a plus!“
“Love them! Ok so i love love this pizza place, been purchasing for more than 4 years but i had noticed on the last couple of months that pizzas are lacking ingredients towards the back of the pizza slices! And my pizzas are often from the "specialty " pizzas and are not cheap so i think we as costumes should be getting what we pay for, dont you think guys!? Still loving the c.s. the delicious taste though don't get me wrong!“
“Malbec exceeded my expectations! The server was superior! They were right on top of every need without hovering or coming to the table unnecessarily. The food was prepared to perfection, both in taste and appearance. The interior was very warm and inviting and gave a sense of both a relaxed welcome as well as a rustic elegance. The prices were fair for the quality of the food and drinks and incredible service by Denise. We will be back soon!Vegetarian options: The chef can leave meat out of any dish and add vegetables or other items. They are accommodating!“
“The food is delicious!! They have both burmese food and hot pot / dry pot hot. I tried the burmese food and dry hot pot and it was excellent! The restaurant is a passion project of the owner and it really shows, he just wants people to be able to have delicious burmese food, and he is proud of his heritage. all around awesome!“
“This place was recommended to me by a friend in ELAC so I decided to give it a try on Saturday after Chemistry. The one employee that was working there was friendly and wasn’t inpatient when I was deciding what to order. The pizza itself is very fresh and has a satisfying taste. The pizza is made on the spot and they give it to you right after the oven.Overall, it’s a very nice pizza shop tasty food and a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a bite or for takeout.Vegetarian options: Salads and a wide range of pizza toppings allow for plenty of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: There are a lot of menu options that kids may like and it is a nice place to eat with the family.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the door.“
“I have been passing by this spot for the past 4 years and have always wanted to try it. I finally gave it a shot and am glad I did.I got a small cheese steak sub with no tomatoes, it was delicious. I especially liked the bread, it had a great taste and nice soft crunch. I also got myself a small potato chip bag. The total came out to $9 and some change (pricing as of Nov 2023). The customer service was pretty good too, they were happy to answer my questions. I got my sandwich in like 3 minutes, very quick service. There were a few groups eating in, and no line when I arrived although a few customers did arrive after I placed my order. This was on a Friday around noon, so not too busy.I’ll definitely be coming back.“
“I recently dined at Arag Mongolian Cuisine and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The fried dumplings were simply divine, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The beefsteak was tender and juicy, while the tefteli with ground beef was a delicious twist on traditional Russian cuisine. The proximity to Russian flavors added a unique touch. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary adventure!“
“It was my first time the guy whom took my order was very nice and patient he allowed me to sample a few meats almost got full lol. I tried the food that’s already ready not bad. Mac and cheese isn’t write home-able lacking flavor but cheesy brisket was okay grilled veggies were good. The fruit parfait ? bomb. I can see myself returning because they have breakfast lunch etc it’s great to have a place in such an area with healthy choices. So I gotta return for more I see the great potential in this eaterythank you Served 2 Enjoy“
“There are a lot of diners in this area but Time Out Burger always seems to have the better food and terrific service.Food is tasty and reasonably priced. They also are willing to accommodate my small dog and cook her a non-salted pattie.Staff are also thr nicest out of all the diners too“
“10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!“
“Watermelon agua fresca - super fresh and really tasty! We didn't see a large tub of it near by, I think they really made it fresh in a blender. Bionicos - cantaloupe, banana and strawberries were inside. So it definitely locked some fruit variety. Overall it was still tasty though and it came with the usual raisins and dried coconut. Esquites - this was, unfortunately, pretty bad. The corn did not taste good and there was no flavor to anything. It was a huge tall cup but they only put the mayo and toppings on the very top. At other places they layer it. So between the icky corn and not layering the flavor, it was just not good.“
“First time with this place,.A bit hard to find actually decent good vegan pizza everywhere different but this spot hit the spot. Wasn't greasy and their almond ricotta was just delicious. Anyone lactose intolerance there is hope. Price shouldn't matter. it's more about the quality. If they offer vegan cookies or other more vegan desserts that's major points. Will be back for their vegan calzone.“
“Hidden gem of a spot next to the gas station. The hand painted sign caught my eye as we were driving past and I'm glad we stopped. Got The Heights sandwich and it did not disappoint. We ordered two sandwiches and they were made up quick, we looked around the bottle shop while we waited. They've got a great selection of waters, soda, wine, beer, and kombucha for such a small footprint. I really liked the card system they had describing the bottles of wine and where they're from. Service was friendly and I want to come back for takeaway pasta and a bottle of wine for dinner some night soon.“
“I have dogs . I especially love their outdoor sitting. One tables has all the comfortable patio couch that I can sit comfortably with my dogs. Food is tasty and healthy. They have new items on and off. I purchased the Plate Pass gives me 20% off each order. Eating there twice already make my money worth. I become a regular there.“
“I try to have some healthy food for lunch near my office. W kitchens is hidden spot. Honestly I didn't expect food is so great but Cauliflower with sweet chilly sauce is very tasty. I am happy to have that and know this place. I will try to have Cajun seafood next time.“
“My workplace usually orders from Melrose Café. All i can say is…YUMMMM! The food is always fresh, tasty, hot when it arrives and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Hard working cooks and front of house! Thank you for the hard work you guys do!“
“Came today Feb 20th around12:30. The lady that takes your order, is very pleasant and patient. She also explains the menu. I had to tip her. I love good service with a smile. NOW TO THE FOOD. THE REGULAR SHRIMP AND PARMESAN FRIES ARE BOMB. I DON'T EVEN EAT FRENCH FRIES ? LIKE THAT ANYMORE BUT THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS, I ATE ALMOST ALL OF THEM. I ALSO ORDERED THE FLAMANGO HABANERO WINGS. HAVEN'T TRIED THOSE YET. BLACK OWNED BUSINESS, I ❤️❤️ IT. I'M GOING TO BRING SOME FRIENDS NEXT TIME. BEST OF LUCK WITH UR BUSINESS. KEEP UP THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THANKS FOR A GREAT LUNCH“
“This place is definitely a hidden gem. As soon as you walk in, you are not only greeted by friendly staff but also a festive decor and an amazing smell that feels like home.We ordered their tres leches crepe and lechera crepe as well as their horchata and chocolate mexican drinks. The crepes we ordered were good. They were perfectly sweet, toppings added some texture and flavor and the drinks were good as well.I highly recommend this place if you want to study, mingle with friends, a cute date night, and etc.“
