“This restaurant is like a pearl in a clam in HP neighborhood. They serve delicious Salvadoran food. The restaurant can sit about five tables. It's clean and well lighted. There are two colorful wall paintings depicting life of Salvadorans. The cashier has a cheerful voice which enlightens your day. She's very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“Best pupusas this side of the border. What I love about this place is that I never gotta ask for more salsa, generous portions. Great side street parking, we got really lucky to leave a conference early and stumbled upon this whole in the wall gem ?“

“The pupusas were delicious, and we also carne asada it was good too, and the ladies are very kind and attentive.
Vegetarian options: They have food with no meat that you can find in the menu.
Parking: The parking is small so if it’s busy you would not find parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicapped parking and access.“

“Sometimes you make a mistake and I have gone to restaurants that look luxurious but the food is not good. This restaurant looked very cheap and I had my doubts when I entered but I did and let me tell you that they were the best pupusas of my life that I have eaten. Thanks to Lupita for your attention 100% recommended.“

“Im usually hesitant to get into fusion cuisine. However this was reccod to me by the gracious server. Well done. The beef had so much character complimented by the flakiness and juiciness of the queso pupusa. Throw in the kim chi, serving as a standard cabbage salad you’d usually find in El Salvadoran food. Delicious. Light, tasty and delicate. Happy I took the leap!“

“The best Pupusas I ever had! (Don't tell my wife) $3 each?! Are you kidding me! I tried pork beans and cheese, beans and cheese, cheese and Jalapeño and Asada. All were hot and juicy and incredible but surprisingly I liked the cheese and Jalapeño best. I mean "queso" and Jalapeño of course.
Cash only.

“My favorite pupusas in Los Angeles. Not greasy and very tasty. Pricey though! It’s ok because the restaurant is very nice. They’ve got great art hanging giving it a cool Latino vibe. Their horchata is awesome. It’s different than Mexican horchata. You must try it! Service is ponderously slow but amazingly friendly. Parking in the rear is usually available. Meter parking available too.“

“My family was in the mood for Central American food and after a quick google search I found this small hole in the wall restaurant.Glad I came here the food was delicious. The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. Good bang for your buck. Will be coming back for breakfast.“

“Amazing food, my girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place while walking. The host was so friendly, explained the menu and answered our questions as we are new to Salvadoran food. The prices are great too. We will be coming back for sure!!!“

“Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.
Good food, and well seasoned. Only issue was how expensive it was. Parking is a little tough, but worth it for a little piece of Central America here in LA. Posting the latest menu updates circa 09/2024“

“Just one detail that I want you to be able to correct is the tanning that you can grind the marjoram a little because it has some very long twigs and one of those sticks got stuck in my throat and I couldn't get it out until with the help I took it out with some tweezers. I hope you pay attention to this detail.“

“Super unassuming from the outside but a great spot for Salvadoran food. Pupusas are made fresh, big, and stuffed to the brim. Probably closest to thing to what you can find in El Salvador that I've tried. Cash only as others have said so make sure you have some on hand.“

“Good food!. Our second time ordering here. The first time we ordered, it was pretty close to closing time 9p. I noticed the edge of the pupusa was very slightly undercooked. I thought maybe because it was close to closing time and they rushed?? Second time was better. Just try to order before 830p.Will keep coming back.“

“Delicious Salvadoran food at a good price. Good servants with attention to details and a smile. I liked that there was no reggaeton music but from Central America and the Caribbean because that is music that Salvadorans listen to. We are not interested in knowing how many the reggaeton player slept with, or how he treated her in bed, or that he has a VIP of old wives. I hope they always stay like this.“

“So yummy! My parents are Guatemalan and used to take me to a lot of central American restaurants growing up. So glad I came across this restaurant. I ordered the Salvadorean breakfast and it reminded me of what I grew up eating at home. So worth it!P.s. they only take cash!“

“Definitely, the cuisine is very delicious, the typical Salvadoran flavor is perfect, the grilled winged breast with onions is delicious with the flavor of rice and fried beans, not to mention, and the grilled shrimp is also wooo, what a delicious thing and the juices are a delight, they are not so sweetened They are perfect for the palate but the best comes here the pupusas are a very well made quality like typical Salvadoran not greasy at all and eaten in so many restaurants and the pupusas are so greasy that your hands fill with grease when you touch them to say more Better visit this restaurant so that you can make up for what I'm saying. The only thing that's bad is that there's no parking, but you can always find it around you ????%100“

“This place is a small family owned business - the workers inside are super nice. The food is prepared fresh and so takes 10-15 min to prepare. The papusas are really good - my favorite is the carnitas and cheese. The peacado maharo (fried fish) is very tasty with lots of protein. The shrimp dishes are good as well. I would recommend this place definitely, and is super affordable.“

“Best Pupusas we have ever eaten!! Soo Yummy!! We ordered 3 cheese, 4 queso con loroco, and 3 revueltas. All delicious, although queso con loroco is our favorite! Everyone there gave excellent customer service and that is a plus! Finally how can I forget, the pan dulce that we tried. I would not be able to explain characteristics but I can 100% say it was DELICIOUS. My husband bought two at first then after trying it and already in the car he went back and bought 3 more. In my opinion still weren't enough!!!!! They were gone asap!!. Lol. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy authentic Salvadorian food! ( FYI, my husband and my son mentioned that while waiting for order they noticed some other plates on tables which look very appealing)
Parking: Parking lot is behind the restaurant. As well as paid street parking in front.“

“This review is based off of a Uber eats review and it’s probably way better in dining.I had their eggs with plantanes, chicharron pupusa, beef soup and cheeseburger with fries. The eggs were delicious and the plantanes were ok. The pupusa was pretty good and the soup was also good with a solid broth. The cheeseburger was also descent and fries were about average.I’d definitely order here again and I’m gonna try this spot in person because so think it’s way better in dining.“
