When I needed an Italian Market that was open in the late afternoon on Valentine's Day, and when all Claro's Italian Market locations were closed, I decided to drive 30 minutes out of the way to give Padua Pasta Makers a try. “It's bizarre that such a great pizzeria is located in a gas station. But their pizza is really good! What sets their pizza apart from others is their dough. It's just so delicious! We are regulars here and usually get cheese, supreme, and sometimes Alfredo chicken. The wings are pretty good as well. The owner is always friendly and reminding me to use my rewards. This place is an icon in Ontario and other locations now if you like spaghetti you must try this restaurant and don’t forget to order the garlic bread, which is part of the completion of the meal, we live in Arkansas now, so when I come to California to visit I always pick up between four and 6 gallons of meat sauce. We break it down into smaller containers and we have Vinces anytime we want it but we don’t get the special garlic bread with their special recipe, so that part is sad. The pizza was absolutely outstanding in both price and taste (Nonno's Special, Large) but I also want to highlight the service. My mother said the workers were among the kindest she has ever met. She often encounters frustration and rudeness because she has bad hearing and limited English abilities. “The evening ambiance (7pm) on a Saturday is fun and cozy. It seems to be a very popular restaurant because there weren't many tables available (we had a reservation). Inside (on my way to the restroom), it was quite loud. I'd recommend sitting outside, we did. Their outdoor heating lamps were very efficient (in the cold weather). They kept us comfortable. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was very kind and attentive. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Appetizers were yummy. We had the shrimp and scallops in a scrumptious butter sauce. The bread was soft, and the bruschcetta was perfect. All of the food was served super hot and tasted authentically Italian. We had one of their specials that night it was a seafood pasta, so creamy and delicious. We also had clams, chicken parmigiana, and an arugula salad with walnuts, cheese, and cranberries. For dessert, we had Tiramisu. I can't wait to go back and try different things on the menu.“

“I've been coming here for the last few months for lunch as I work in Fontana just down the street. Staff has been very nice and friendly. For the most part, the pizza is pretty good here. Just once in awhile, it might be a hit or miss as sometimes maybe the pizza sits too long. But I've been lucky and it's good. They do reheat the pizza in a toaster oven, which is ok with me.
