The burger itself was flavorful and the crunchy, but soft bun and the jalapeño aioli were just right. The picture here is of the Bavarian soft pretzel that we had as an appetizer - it came out hot and the beer cheese was crazy good. The restaurant’s interior is very basic/seat yourself and the noise level is HIGH. Prices are typical for a hotel, but I’d go back for this meal again if I return to the Marriott.“

My husband had the burger and it was a little messy to eat but it was 1/2 pound. He added the bacon to try and liked it but it was too much food. I had the filet medallion special and it was the perfect amount of food with 2 sides of potato au gratin and green beans. Good service and great vibe. Plus plus was their accommodation for my wheelchair. We called ahead and they were more than happy to accommodate.“

“Called in for takeout late on a Saturday night. It was 11:30 PM. Surprisingly, the restaurant was completely empty. I thought there would be more people hanging out here! Not too familiar with Oakland, but maybe it was a location issue? Anyways, we called and had an estimate of 25 minutes, but our food was ready in 15 minutes. Going inside, paying and checking out was easy.

We specifically wanted bossam. We also got the tteokbokki.

Service was quick and friendly.

At home, when we started to eat, we wish the bossam had more cabbage than the portion of steamed napa cabbage they gave us. The sauce flavors were good though and they gave us some banchan. The tteokbokki was tasty.

We were also able to takeout some makgeolli since the H-Marts and other Asian grocers were closed at this time.

All in all it got our bossam fix taken care of.“
